qurl Posted August 9 Posted August 9 there's something so incredibly basic about it almost to the point of it being …. reductive or like explicitly meant to be a diet lana song (lyrically) … but then you add this undeniable Britney influence of a young ingenue coming into her own musically and it makes the entire song feel like it's winking at u , and that makes it work its really a gorgeous, simple, stunning pop song. i feel like im eating my previous comment about her not having mainstream commercial potential , i don't think it'll be with this song but i feel like she could be huge
