Waldi Posted August 2 Posted August 2 It's really so exhausting now and always the same every year. How about new music and an extensive tour where all fans worldwide get their money's worth? 1
Richie Posted August 2 Posted August 2 The reduction is real, just like those annual middle school christmas shows. 2
suburbannature Posted August 2 Posted August 2 The pretending to be surprised in here? She's had Christmas tours for ten years

How about new music and an extensive tour where all fans worldwide get their money's worth? Well, she just sold out multiple legs of a summer Vegas residency and is doing international shows including a Brazil stadium. I'm sick of the Xmas shows too, but why are we pretending this is news 3
SoldierofLove Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Disappointed she's not coming back to Toronto this year!
loveisdead9582 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I mean… if she only defrosts once a year she might as well make some $$$. Just as long as we don't get another NYE type performance…
Jay07 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 But what about new music? Is this the longest gap she has ever had?

Yes, but also she has given us a ton of catalogue-driven material. MC30 EPs, Rarities, anniversary editions. and her recurrent streams and online presence are stronger than that of the other ladies from that era so she's just fine. It's just that she has the biggest female song ever that has stood the test of time so the rest feels smaller by comparison. I'd love a new album, but honestly with her vocal condition I'm only interested if it's something more alt-R&b driven like her work with Blood Orange. 1

MC30 isn't over until Angels Advocate is out, even if nearing MC35 1
Rico Shameless v2 Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Well at least she's coming to Atlanta. I've yet to ever see her so Xmas music it will have to be.
KaledKalil Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Not gonna complain since I'm seeing her next month in Brazil. haha Even tho is quite early, it's fine since the tour starts in November.
Feanor Posted August 2 Posted August 2 We needed her to use the same title for all these Christmas tours, so that the box office could've been $100M+
yourfaveisaflop Posted August 2 Posted August 2 omfg mother is coming to austin and on my birthday I need to see her!!!!!!!!! wait does she only sing Christmas songs tho

kishi Posted August 2 Posted August 2 She don't love us in Florida! Wouldn't mind going to ATL, DC or NYC.

The same applies to Vegas and all the other queens who are constantly reside there. I just want new music and tours from which all fans worldwide have something. 🫤 1

stevyy Posted August 3 Posted August 3 The venues are even bigger than last year. Last year she had 13k on average per show. By the look of it, she could get to 16k per show this time around. Last year, she made $2 million per show. This could end up becoming her highest grossing tour of her career in the US (beating 2006's The Adventures of Mimi, $40 million). OT: Why are people so rude in here? She's doing international festivals, visiting Brazil, China and has 16 shows at Vegas this year on top of the Xmas shows. What's the problem now? That her Xmas tours are too successful? 1 1
