iiswhoiis_max Posted July 31 Posted July 31 I refuse to say it is bad but I hate it 100%. It sounds like when I used Magix Music Maker and created some sounds It's just not for me . Crash was better :( 1 1 1
Kylizzle Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) *people enjoying themselves and dancing with friends in the real world to a popular song* Users on a forum named afterTotal Request Live in 2024: THIS IS SO CRINGE Edited July 31 by Kylizzle 1 10
jonahorbryce Posted July 31 Posted July 31 the album is still phenomenal, but the use of its aesthetics from brands, politicians, and more have diluted it just a tad for me. (also the apple dance is getting on my nerves icl) 1
Solaria Posted July 31 Posted July 31 It's not cringeworthy but it's very clear to me that it's a 2024 fad. I really do not see this album have any longevity at all. 2024 is a VERY maximalist year for pop music… next year will be the complete opposite which means BRAT wont survive 1 4 1
Alongoria13 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Y'all just mad cause you no longer feel edgy and unique by making it your personality 5

Cause where were all these people during Vroom Vroom, Charli, how i'm feeling now? Maybe they didn't know about Charli back then
mylicious Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Why would it be? Just enjoy the music, that comment says a lot of you. 3
Bad Friend Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Its supposed to be cringeworthy Edited July 31 by Bad Friend
ONOPKA Posted July 31 Posted July 31 this is such a dumb question charli has always been incredibly authentic to herself and this is shown in her albums - and that includes brat. it's a shame that people might see things as 'cringe' when they surpass a certain level of commercial success or 'viralness'. just because something is popular doesn't mean it is cringeworthy. it's not as if charli really asked for the album to blow up in the way that it has. 3
Cain Posted July 31 Posted July 31 "Is Brat cringe now?" *posts only the Apple dance Yes the Apple dance is literally cringe and has always been but except for seeing it as a promotional tool (and it's working) I don't see what that has to do with the album 1

Mr_campbell Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Where were all these random people during N1A? I miss Charli being my dirty litttle secret.
rebeltwat Posted July 31 Posted July 31 For those to whom it concerns, no. For people that are jumping onto it now without really knowing who Charli actually is as an artist, yes.
Almodusa Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Shouldn't you celebrate your fave breaking more and more into the public conscious 1 1
Guilherme Make Love Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Funny how some people instantly turn against things they once liked if suddenly it became popular lol Being edge is not a personality, and no it isn't cringe, let people dance and enjoy things
Rhyme Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Charli wasn't even particularly niche before this era or Crash era, she was just mostly unsuccessful commercially before BRAT. "Normies" still knew her Why wouldn't you feel cooler now that everyone loves Charli rather than when she was mocked as the Boom Clap girl? Edited July 31 by Rhyme 1
Shinkirou Posted July 31 Posted July 31 It's still my album of the year, and I absolute love Charli, but I have to admit that when she tweeted about Kamala the vibe shifted a bit. I'll still enjoy the album, but I'd say it has lost some cool factor for sure. 2
