Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Oh my God, I Almost Do is so low! Such a beautiful country ballad - an essential in Red. I honestly thought it's a shoe-in for top 100
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Renegade made it that far! So happy for it. But I'm seriously surprised and a bit mad - Who's Afraid of Little Old Me is THIS LOW??????? How? Haven't you seen the performance in the Eras Tour? This song is top 50 material!!!!!!!!!! I won't say which songs but there's A BUNCH left in Tortured Poets (and obviously in other albums that's not as good as this GODLY song!!!! This already pissed me OFF
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I'm still UPSET about WAOLOM. But I'm pretty amused and satisified with Timeless. It should be top 100 but the fact that it made it this far is a pleasant surprise. Still deserves to be higher than a lot of Speak Now tracks remaining, and SHOULD HAVE BEEN in the standard album!!!!
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 THIS IS KILLING ME. How the **** is Say Don't Go this low? Damn it, this rate is going to hell. WAOLOM > Timeless > Say Don't Go is the 1-2-3 punch of killing me here. ALL DESERVE TOP 100!!!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS. I CANNOT. I'M PISSED. Say Don't Go doesn't deserve this. The best 1989 vault track, it's a masterpiece, a gem that's not well appreciated here. GOD DAMN IT I'M PISSED.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I'm a Lover advocate and I truly believe this is a well rounded album. I love Paper Rings but it's so hard to celebrate how far it made it when it's higher than great songs (the trio of songs that just killed me). Well, I'll learn to be satisfied because Paper Rings is such a nice catchy track, and could've been a great single if I'm being honest.

Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Oh my, The Bolter is out too soon as well This is such a great country-folky track and I enjoyed the storytelling.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Bejeweled overstayed. SHOULD HAVE BEEN GONE a long time ago. It stings that it's above so many gems. It's nice and catchy but to me it's the worst of the glittery shiny songs she released.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Tim McGraw also overstayed. It's nice but it's definitely one of her weakest tracks, especially being a lead single.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I Did Something Bad is great but it's too high. I'll celebrate it going out because I've had a lot of punches received already. Now let's eliminate more of reputation!!!
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 You're Not Sorry is okay. I remember blasting this during the fearless era but now I barely aknlowgedge it Still a great song though. The TV elevated!
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Fresh Out the Slammer I feel like it deserves an extra chorus to be really a perfect song, but it still deserves higher. I'm sad for it.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Oh wow I totally forgot that Eyes Open is still in. I'm pleasantly surprised that it held on this long. I love the TV, the rock-ish angst has been pumped out for this song. I love it. Didn't expect it to be top 100 so I'm fine for its placement.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 You Are in Love It's such a nice love song. I'm fine with its placement but is it lower than Wonderland? I don't really get the love for that song, but I guess I'm just not a fan of it.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Sad Beautiful Tragic, as beautiful as it is, overstayed. I do understand the glow up it got from Red TV, because I don't remember it being super liked until the TV. It is a great song though, I just have other favorites I guess. But kudos to it, made it really far.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Damn, Clara Bow is super nice but when you think about it, how is it ahead of The Bolter, Who's Afraid of Little Old Me, The Albatross, Peter, hell even I Can Do It with a Broken Heart? I love the song but I didn't know it's loved well fairly.
Theluckyone Posted September 11 Posted September 11 (edited) I think I gave the entire top 10 full 10 marks wewww. And style deserves the #1! Truly her best song of her entire catalogue. Edited September 11 by Theluckyone
Theluckyone Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Kind of wish safe & sound placed higher. Surprised that August outperformed cardigod; and YBWM outperformed love story. Outstanding top 10 though. Thanks for hosting @Forever Winter that must have taken a lot of your time! 1
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Okay My Boy... and The Smallest Man not even top 100??? This is CRAZY. So many Tortured Poets haters here. How is Karma (and I do love Karma but how?), The Story of Us, Back to Revenge ahead of these masterpieces? This is insane. I cannot.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 White Horse It's too LOW. it's one of those Fearless tracks that deserve top 100. So annoying. This rate makes me fume
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Damn Speak Now (the track) is fun BUT it is TOO HIGH. So many Speak Now stans in here, I know what to sabotage the next rate. I love Speak Now but it's not as legendary as people think. Come on now. I guess the recency bias for Tortured Poets (and Midnights) didn't help at all.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Karma is good, but it has overstayed. BUT.. The Last Time also not even top 100???? What the hell songs made it?????????? This is a quintessential Red track and I think one of those that started the folky indie alternative sound that Folklore managed to be successful with. This is so annoying.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Snow on the Beach still here? It's such a mediocre track after the 1-2-3 punch of that album. Thank God YOYOK and Midnight Rain saved us. Should have been a lot lower.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Okay I literally hate it here. I HATE IT HERE is top 50! What a beautiful song. The song truly embodies how I feel about this rate. UGH. Don't care much about Florida but I'm pissed at the Tortured Poets massacre. I can't take this anymore. This album is fantastic.
Mr. Duff Posted September 11 Posted September 11 NOT Coney Island How is this below a LOT of mediocre tracks from her other albums? I can't believe this. It's top three in Evermore. This sucks. Really sucks. I Hate It Here and Coney island both deserve top 50 at least, so beautiful songs. 1
