I often think a 2014 quote from Taylor when I listen to this: "she's very intelligent - it would scare people if they knew how smart she was". With this song she proved that methinks. Was undoubtedly a highlight of the Eras Tour methinks. It's so dramatic and fun and joyous - very main character. And I think Taylor's Version may be better than the original, too." Peroxide 10 - "When you look up the dictionary definition of 'perfect pop song'… this is the song that shows up!" Forever Winter 10 - "Everything about this song is genius, from the lyrics to the melodies to the production to the vocal delivery to the adlibs. 10000% deserving to be one of her signature songs." frankvert 10 - "One of the best written pop songs of all time. Her best single imo. The narrative, MV, & rollout were all perfect." SLUTTVFTV 10 - "Pop perfection." Klein 10 - "Her very best pop song. Everything about it is top notch. Production, melody, lyrics, delivery, imagery, iconic-ness... No other pop song from her can come close. They might match the melodic strength, but will lack in lyrics. They might match the lyrics, but will fall at the production. And every single one of them (bar LWYMMD) are lacking in the visuals department compared to Blank Space. Thank you mother for this masterpiece." wastedpotential 10 - "Nnn I'm not even gonna waste my time writing out a comment here, y'all already know. Great chorus, beautiful chorus! Sean O'Pry, if you're reading this, I'm waiting for you with an open mind, an open heart, open hands, and an open ho-" blown away 10 - "This one is a stroke of genius, one of Taylor's strongest songs." Starchild 10 - "A timeless classic." Edge of Glory 8.5 - "Arguably her defining single, next to maybe love story or ybwm......." Achilles. 8 - "A genius pop song in a dozen different ways. The snappy one liners and soaring hooks, of course. But also the way the narrative makes "all the tables turn" exactly halfway through the song. And I once read an article all about the brilliant use of the down beat here." Where are you now? 7.8 - "Taylor writing at the top of her game, miles ahead of her peers. Such a GP-owned song though that I don't often feel like listening. " sparrowblue 6.9 - "It's good but nowhere near greatness." KillingYourCareer 0 - "Back in late 2014, I was 'dating' this guy I wasn't really that much into. When I told him that indeed we weren't together, he started sharing memes with this song on Facebook. I now associate it with annoying, bitter gays, hence the 0." Fake news i would never give a gaga song a 9 3

Achilles. Posted September 9 Posted September 9 lmfao hold on tell me why I was just looking through the rate signup thread and Ace Reject approved an essentials rate, not a discography rate. Singles are not supposed to be included in essentials rates. Was it all a lie?? I guess that means this is the REAL top 10: 1. Enchanted 2. august 3. State of Grace 4. Clean 5. Getaway Car 6. tolerate it 7. tis the damn season 8. Guilty As Sin? 9. my tears ricochet 10. mirrorball 2
By the Water Posted September 9 Posted September 9 These results... No words I refuse to believe that anyone that listened to Taylor's discography thinks Stale or Corona Summer are anywhere near the best she has to offer. Go stan Katy Perry or Ariana Grande if that's what you like For the next rate we shouldn't let just anyone in because these results are giving ChatGPT answer Also, there seemed to be so many Countrylor stans but I only see two 0s for Stale. What happened? 2 3
By the Water Posted September 9 Posted September 9 That being said, Godchanted still being top 3 even after the campaign against it after it won like 3 rates in a row then placed #2 last year Talent can't be sabotaged Except for cardigan, I guess

chiliam Posted September 9 Posted September 9 TTPD songs deaerve better in general. Its such a polarized album, like people get it love it so much but so many saboteurs. loml and the Prophercy should be in too 20. How did it end and i hate it here should be top 40. Debut should also place higher, Tim Mc Graw and Our Song deserve top 20 placement. If only theres more country stan. The pop fan ruin this rate. Style and Blank Space deserved their spots but aint no way theres 6 19katy songs in top 20 3

Achilles. Posted September 9 Posted September 9 The people need to WAKE UP and accept that the First Testament is better than Loser. The fact that the debut is lower despite Loser having a complete handful of the worst songs in her entire catalog is so bleak. Acquire better taste. 1 1
