blown away

11 - "The emotion, the scathing lyrics, the drama. Everything about this song is great."

Achilles.

10 - "You can pinpoint the exact timestamp in this song where Taylor Swift stopped being a teen prodigy and became a definitive generational talent with the potential (now realized!) of building a career of truly historic proportions."

greento

10 - "Incredibly well written song, especially for her age. One of the first songs that made me understand her hype."

1989

10 - "A lyrical masterpiece. One of the best takedowns ever recorded."

Forever Winter

10 - "This is how you write a six-minute song. TTPD Taylor, take notes."

wastedpotential

9.4 - "I really think this is one of Lord's most technically perfect hymns. The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 is because I know y'all have this one covered. I feel like this song is the Alexander the Great of Lord's discography, it came, it saw, and it ******* conquered. It's nearly seven minutes with multiple guitar solos and some insane vocal runs, and never once does it let its heel up from John Mayo's neck. I hope Her stiletto shattered his trachea and left his worthless loser ass gasping for breath. Technically, I can talk about the layering or the building or the instrumentation or the fact that this was Nathan Chapman's only non-consensual duet that I think works as intended, or the perfection of the multiple stacked lyrical metaphors, plus the meta moment at the end, but y'all already know how substantively perfect this hymn is, and I'm not going to worry about proselytizing this one. Y'all get it."

sparrowblue

9 - "The draggings on the bridge just keep going and going."

Nein

9 - "SCALP HA AGAIN!"

Edge of Glory

8.5 - "I hate that she has to be the bigger person cause imo she should've been allowed to put john mayer in one of those medieval torture machines where ur limbs get tied to the four corners of a platform and slowly stretched apart for what he did on national television I fear."

Bussea

8 - "Another magnificent bridge."

Bosque

7 - "Good song but points deducted for putting "John" in the title of a song about John Mayer."

Where are you now?

4.8 - "Respect her songwriting and lyricism here but idk, have never been into the bluesy style, not crazy about the melodies, and can't not think about John Mayer."

Two of my 11s getting punched back to back outside the top 30 is appalling, I can't ******* imagine what would've happened if she didn't put it on the setlist and everyone finally latched to the train after disliking since day one.

illicit is a masterpiece and easily top 5 in her discography, I have no words...

11 - "Top Ten in her discography. We need to bully her into putting it back on the setlist for the last leg of Eras."

Forever Winter

10 - "I love this song so much. I went to two Eras Tour shows and I teared up both times during this song...the entire Speak Now set in fact. Enchanted also got me in my feels."

Miles.

10 - "This is so beautiful. I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you is a top 3 line in her discography. Spine-tingling, tear-inducing, bone-chilling nostalgia."

pavi

10 - "Crying screaming throwing up, so mad she cut this from the setlist and I didn't get to experience it live."

Achilles.

10 - "I still remember reading a Speak Now review in 2010 where this was described as a song written about graduating high school and that was when I realized that all critics are stupid and refuse to engage in anything deeper than the shallowest reading of an artist's work… but this also came out my senior year of high school and I wrote "long live" on the underside of my graduation cap so……"

Lorenzo22

10 - "Swifties may be fat, ugly and unattractive but that's okay because we got the best song ever."

wastedpotential

8.3 - "This one does choke me up, I cannot lie. I really am Her *****. I'm but a humble servant, and She was so benevolent and kind to bless me, to bless us, with a hymn about Her adoration for us. Swifties, times may be hard, times may get harder, but we are so loved. I feel so loved when I hear this song. Swifties, I was so saddened when this was cut from the Eras setlist. I was sad for the future attendees of the tour who would never get to hear it live (except for the blessed souls at Lisbon N2 and London N7), but moreso I was sad for me, because I'd lost the privelidge of hearing it on every livestream I watched. How sad was that, Swifties? I know the stans of the other girls fume in the knowledge that their fave doesn't love them as much as Lord loves us."

sparrowblue

8 - "Funny this now feels like a ripped jeans era type of song."

Edge of Glory

8 - "Her adding it to the eras setlist AND removing it before my date is nasty work."

blown away

8 - "Great song, beautiful song. Sounds like an anthem."

pinkbowvintage

7 - "Another Swiftie fave I enjoy but it never got me as excited."

Bussea

7 - "The bridge and final chorus? *chefs kiss*"

Where are you now?

0 - "Blah. I feel like I'm not a real Swiftie for not loving this song. The genre, melody, chord progression and subject do nothing for me. :("
