Is 'brat' more culturally relevant than any Taylor release since Folklore?

I feel that BRAT by Charli XCX's impact has been seen worldwide, even with it discussed on national news, think pieces written, and BRAT summer. Taylor on the other hand, known as the music industry, albeit has massive chart success, some may attribute that to her large stan-base, and she hasn't been discussed on a GP-level since her battle with Scooter Braun.

Thoughts?

Not every thought needs to be threaded.

Most people in Asia and LatAm don't even know this album exist

Is atrl this delusional now or what? You all need to be bit serious sometimes

No, midnights was everywhere.

Well yes. Taylor could have continued to mature as a culturally significant songwriter by following a Joni Mitchell-esque career trajectory, but instead of her Hejira we just got a return to high school music. She chose the numbers over the impact I fear

Brag's debut was out-streamed by Taylor's track 1.

Give it a rest, don't feed the bait.  Just report for trolling.

So you believe Taylor was more culturally relevant during the Lover era?

Of course, however, I've been told that brat summer is worldwide and on national news.

The swifties are lying to themselves. Brat has been more culturally relevant in media than most of her recent releases.

Popularity and cultural impact are two very different things.

It's funny because reading those ATRL OTH/Charli fans, you would expect brat and her singles to pull HUGE numbers… then you check them out and don't understand :rip:

Midnights and that poets department album are not discussed. There is a reason why only folklore/evermore are still remembered. I mean look at midnights it's already completely forgotten by gp.
