I studied french for 8 years but it's still impossible to understand for me  but yeah they're dragging her hard, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to pick an american artist to open the Paris Olympics with a song in a language she can't speak.

The whole ceremony felt weird, no feeling of oneness/togetherness due to the vastness of seine idk

It was cute but the stage was short and they were outdoors, not the best conditions to perform. She did her best with how they planned to perform by the river but it would have been better on a real stage indoors
