Twizzy Posted July 21 Posted July 21 This is the best example of quality over quantity if I've ever seen one. One random song from a 10 track album (Lunch was being pushed as the lead so it is indeed random ), surpassing the announced lead single of a 35? track album and that lead did 25m first day. What a frontloaded mess 6 1 1 15

Dear Reader Posted July 21 Posted July 21 My thoughts? I'm not a loser that hates to see any woman win, so I'm happy for Billie 1 1

I wish more "frontloaded" messes had this success 4
newaespa Posted July 21 Posted July 21 With the massive autoplay that song have on Spotify (& and that weird promotion on Tiktok), i am surprised it took her so long to surpass Fortnight 3 1

Klein Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I'm happy to see that the new girls can have bigger hits than the girls with a nearly 2 decades-long career, and that the girls with a nearly 2 decades-long career can have bigger albums and tours. Everyone is winning. The natural order of pop music. 2

It's a little baffling her fans think she's "organic" while everyone else gets autoplay I do not listen to her on Spotify and there was once where they recommended me Lover, Reputation, and REDTV all at the same time as soon as I opened the app Fortnight just isn't a hit. Im willing to bet Billie had way more payola push then Taylor did for their recent albums lmfao. 1

If anything, it would perform worse since there are more songs people can listen to. Also dragging Fortnight for being a weak perforng lead while it is performing better than Billie's own lead Lunch 6 minutes ago, whatyouwant_ said: Well, not everyone can have stability and hit #1 after its 50 days on the chart. Billie's music apparently: 'reputation' (2017) - 5,459,937 'dont smile at me' (2017) - 4,503,316 'Lover' (2019) - 9,111,008 'WWAFA,WDWG' (2019) - 3,448,915 'RED (Taylor's Version) (2021) - 3,983,939 'Happier Than Ever' (2021) - 3,086,479 And mind you, there are 13 (!) years between Taylor's debut album and Billie's debut album. Billie as a streaming era artist has every advantage in the world to get more streams… yet she doesn't. And if number of albums mattered, we'd see more veteran artists outstream Billie, yet it's only Taylor. 22 4 1

By the Water Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Billie fans still trying to deny the autoplay allegations? Someone tell me where "organic hit" Lunch is sitting at in every platform 5 2 3
