Honestly Joe is the only one with a slim chance in hell at beating trump. Kamala as much as I would want her to win will not have a chance in hell as a minority woman.

People keep saying Biden should step aside but can't come up with a viable candidate to replace him.

Kamala couldn't even make it to the democratic primaries because she was so unpopular but unfortunately I don't think they Will replace her because a lot of people will say it's racist and misogynist including atrl gays. Since it's going to be her the VP needs to be someone from the rustbelt area like Shapiro who is very popular.

I love Kamala, but she's a woman of color in America. She's not winning.

Still, I'd rather have Democrats put ANYONE over a literal corpse on the ticket. It's mad embarrassing that it's taking them this long. Unless it's gonna be a young charismatic guy, I don't see them taking it.

I disagree with people saying Kamala can't win on the basis of being a woman of colour. I know misogyny and racism are definitely a factor in politics, but that shouldn't stop the party from running women of colour for office. Remember that she actually was elected as a VP. America being racist did not stop Obama from winning twice, and misogyny did not stop Hillary Clinton from winning 3 million more votes than Trump. So a Kamala win can happen if she plays her cards right.

Things seem impossible until someone does them.

They elected Obama twice and Michelle Obama polls better than any other Democrat.

The more speculation swirls that Biden cannot/will not/should not run, the more impossible it becomes for him to win.

Democratic leadership is already planting the seed in America's mind that Biden can't win, and you can't walk that back.

If this is true, Biden will be stepping now (unless Obama has no respect for his friend and his country and doesn't talk to Biden directly). But I just can't see Obama saying this about his old running mate. I feel like Obama has been feeding Biden's delusion more than anybody. :suburban: Either way, it looks bad for the Democratic Party

Biden doesn't really get on that well with Obama because he is bitter Obama endorsed Hillary in 2016 and suggested to Joe he not run then.

Biden would've won easily in 2016 too 💀

He couldn’t win IA, NH, and NV in the Dem 2020 primaries. He only won the 2020 primaries because Obama told everyone to fall in line behind Biden to beat Bernie. He wouldn’t have won the primaries in 2016 because he’s always been a god awful politician.

Covid didn't exist in 2016, the race would be closer

Wait, is he waiting until after the RNC to announce? Kinda smart...

Y'all are kidding yourselves with this "Biden wouldn't have won in 2016" BS. HRC barely lost. Biden would've dogwalked Trump. And the Dems would've fallen over themselves to continue the Obama administration.
