Unpopular opinions gay men aren't ready to hear

1) Gays who are religious/sympathize with religion are self-loathing

2) You can acknowledge that bisexuals face oppression while respecting the fact that other LGBT minorities have to overcome bigger challenges. There's also a subset of people that conveniently uses that label to capitalize on the struggles of a minority group so they can feed their need for attention. And they should be called out

throwing the rest of the LGBTQ+ community under the bus won't make conservatives like 'em

I personally believe that bisexual people who are so vocal about bi visibility, bi-erasure, don't like being grouped in with gays, etc etc are probably just homophobic

I also don't understand why it's so important for drag queens to read to kids

I could never have sex with someone that takes part in these, I just find them so gross

fair world

idk personally I'm intrigued by them, idk if I'd ever participate in one but the vibe they give me when I see them on sniffies makes me think of how my city no longer has a bathhouse and how men and masc queer ppl try a lot of new ways to achieve that same kind of homosocial + homosexual environment. pump n dumps are definitely a way, but I can also see regular orgies with ppl you know and trust already as better and more personal ways :gayorkcat2:

as a bisexual, SPILL :clap3:

I will say that as a more effeminate-PRESENTING bisexual than a good portion of american bisexual men, I do have a history of being shamed on my sexuality presentation in a different way than those bro-ey former frat bro bisexual guys may have had lol. but it's all subjective and different, and at a core level i totally agree with u

Was it really necessary to create another thread for this subject when the last one we had - exact same title - was active less than 60 days ago and could've been bumped?

Straight people (especially straight men) don't give a damn about gay rights and never will hence why they vote republican.

being in a monogamous relationship can work

this ISN'T an unpopular opinion when most people practice monogamy even in the gay community.

S/N: I just wish the vocal and single monogamy girlies would focus on the not being single part instead of the woe is me antics any chance they get :rip:

Telling people to go cruise and have sex in public places is illegal and not something anyone should be encouraging.

Honestly this is a good point. :rip: Like I know drag has gone mainstream and lost all sense of its actual origins and purpose but is it absolutely necessary to be in an extravagant cross-dressing costume for the purposes of reading? That being said, I also don't know why people get so offended. It's just like a clown reading to you really.

gay community has many issues, but the way y'all talk about them is reductive and reeks of virtue-signaling. this thread being an example of that.

you don't have to rely on heteronormative standards in a relationship where one has to be a top/the 'man' and the other a bottom/the 'woman', it's such a dated concept

  • I think we need to start fighting back. Especially against straights that get on gay apps and assault us. Hunt them down in groups and teach them a lesson

Wait now this is making some points. We should also start allying with the other LBT people and teach each other how to shoot and get militant. Post November is not looking good for us

because drag is a diverse art form and queer people shouldn't be barred from children education just because we are different. honestly i personally don't care to read for children in or out of drag, but for some queer people it is important and there's nothing wrong with it. it teaches kids acceptance.

this is one of those things where we have to stand in solidarity in principle, even if we don't care.

oooo another for y'all

stop putting so much stock into height all the time. short men can be just as handsome, masculine, cool, smart, talented, and awesome as taller men. I'm 5'6 and i haaaaated how I felt in high school cause people wouldn't pay attention to me as much as they would the taller doofuses who sometimes had thumb faces

that-is-correct-bojack-horseman-todd-cha

that's not to say that all tall guys look like thumbs of course lol… I've had my fair share of crushes on taller dudes, but it was just crazy how you could have a cute face but being 5'6 brought you down compared to the taller basic guys. unfair world!!

fortunately, as an adult, people have given me less sh*t about my height because some see it positively and others look past it for other good stuff they like about me :relax:

I understand types and all (though I personally don't have a singular type, I'm attracted to a million different kinds of ppl #yup #i'mbisexual #andamanlet) but open your mind and heart: your dream boy could just so happen to be a manlet :smitten:

my 2020 summerboy was a manlet who kinda looked like Jude Law and WHEWWWW I was in heaven with his 5'4 ass 🥵

so yeah tl;dr love and respect the short kings out there 🫶🏻😍

honestly fair as a bisexual I've definitely had more women give a sh*t about my height vs men, but I do see a lot of men on social media complaining about an influx of short guys in their cities and such

Unpopular opinion. But gay men complain way too much online about the same thing every week. These people need to look in the mirror and see they're the problem.

Conservative Gays are indirectly killing our trans sisters, brothers, and youth. They are contributing to the cultural miasma that points the target towards all of us, every year.

No amount of money in the world is worth aligning with people who want you DEAD, and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

My least favourite genre of a queer person are bisexuals who only enter heterosexual relationships and use them being queer~bisexual for oppression points. And it unfortunately seems very common for that to occur
