Many of you suffer from intense internalized homophobia and it shows anytime you post about queer artists (Lil Nas, Troye, Sam). It's like the spirit of Ronald Reagan takes over your souls.

 

Also, we, as a community, need to be way more careful with the "ironic" homophobia. It's one thing to do it in person and in jest with your queer friends. It's another thing to use "f****t", "fruity", etc. in an online space, where straight people can join in. The heteros have been getting WAY too confortable and we need to start pushing back.

 

And using "f****t" as an insult in NOT reclaiming it.

A lot of gays who quote-tweet those group photos of muscular white gays partying together, calling them out for "racism" and being exclusionary, are projecting their own sexual desires of wanting to be part of that group. They are angry because they don't meet the superficial physical requirements to do so. It's not about "calling out white gays" for not having POC friends; it's about them not wanting to sleep with you, so you try to assert power over them through virtue signaling. This is ironic in a way, because it's their own superficiality that makes them want to sleep only with muscular white men, and then they weaponize their guilt by claiming the muscular white guys are the ones in the wrong.
