It's so strange to me that my country said no to WW and IHHM, but yes to Lifetimes...

"LIFETIMES" should have been the first single tbh. It's such a feel good bop. I get an instant boost of serotonin every time it comes on. :jamming:

It's really generic but probably the only right choice for si gle off this album

His mine song has the best video though, it would have been a hit with Doja Cat, it's very much her sound

No, that's only from our biggest radio station chart. The only reason you can see a song in top 10 is because people request it in their shows.

My country is very stupid in terms of the official chart. So, for that chart, they put TV, radio, and streaming into one thing... And my country has a rule where the media have to play local songs more often. So, last time Katy was charting here was with Alesso.

If Im his, hes mine was released by Ariana and Doja it would spend ten weeks at no 1.

I'm predicting I'll get a Miami date from Katy landing on September/October 2025.

yeah she needs to still push ihhm and lifetimes but definitely drop all the love and give us the damn deluxe before the end of the year and perform her christmas song along no tears for new years at end of the year specials

The longer it gets the less I'm inclined to believe there will be a deluxe. Maybe the backlash has put a halt on it?

"Hello, I'm ATRL member DREAMERS and I'm addicted to listening to the Katy Perry future classic "WONDER". The spirit of Tiffany Pollard suddenly takes hold of him. "I'm a wonderer. I wonder a lot in my sleep."

I feel like whenever I listen to this album, I end up loving it even more than I did before. It's also one of those albums where I mostly listen to it front to back, because it's so cohesive and the way each track flows into each other makes it feel like it should be played in its entirety. I actually don't mind the songs being relatively short because as soon as "WONDER" finishes I want to immediately go back to "WOMAN'S WORLD"

Maybe Stargate snapped on the production just a little

I'll never get tired of saying that this album is so good, like I genuinely enjoy all of it. When I'm listening to my rotation on spotify and suddenly a 143's track comes on I immediately want to play the whole album start to finish. I don't say it just because I'm a kc, in fact this didn't often happen to me with Smile for example. I also have to say that I'm very weak for Katy's voice, she could make me like literally anything.

Re-listening to this almost a month later, and it definitely has some moments of greatness amidst some other very middle-of-the-road moments.

Spoiler

Woman's World: 9/10 — Catchy ass song, but could be made better if it was more fleshed out and the lyrics weren't so banal. You-know-who producing a female empowerment song like this automatically ruins it to a degree on principal alone unfortunately even though it's a bop and a half.

Gimme Gimme: 3/10 — Meh, still a skip for me.

Gorgeous: 5/10 — I think this would've been better as a Kim track ft. Katy on a Kim project. It's not bad, just not that good either.

I'm His, He's Mine: 7/10 — A cute bop, definitely benefits from being a little more midtempo compared to the higher energy tracks that comprise most of the rest of the album.

Crush: 7/10 — A bop, but bordering on painfully generic. It's still a cute filler-esque track that serves its purpose. I would rate it much lower if the beat wasn't as infectious as it is.

Lifetimes: 8/10 — An innocent enough bop, but I would have left it as an album track because it's pretty generic. However, out of the handful of extremely generic tracks on the album, this one is the best.

All the Love: 7/10 — One of the more standout tracks. A bit underbaked, but at least it feels a little more unique amidst some of the other tracks.

Nirvana: 8/10 — The chorus! :smitten: ...but then the verses. :grump: Definitely needed entirely different verse structures in my opinion to match the vibe of that immaculate chorus.

Artificial: 4/10 — Mostly a skip for me, but the chorus elevates a bit. Maybe with reworked verses it could be better.

Truth: 3/10 — Nothing special with this one. It's not even bad, but is also just...there. It feels like a filler track, but isn't even a good one at that.

Wonder: 10/10 — The best song on the album, and the most genuine sounding one too. :clap3: This has a level of soul that literally every other song on the album is missing. Not sure if it's irony or simply just telling that it's the one track he didn't have a hand in. I don't really mind the kid's voice at the beginning and end, but it seems pointless knowing it's not her daughter's voice like it sort of implies it is given the song's meaning. :skull:

I'd give the overall album a 6.5/10. I would have much preferred if they released it with this tracklist (and a different producer!!!), which would be a solid 8.5/10 for me:

Woman's World

I'm His, He's Mine

Crush

Lifetimes

I Woke Up

No Tears for New Years

Has a Heart

All the Love

 Nirvana

Wonder

Very random, but I just noticed there's a weird audio inconsistency in Nirvana's chorus: in the phrase "dancing in the blurry lights," her vocals almost double in volume after the word "dancing." :rip: It ends up sounding like:

"dancing in the blurry lights."

Has anyone else noticed this? :skull: It almost sounds like they added another layer of vocals to the chorus but didn't for the word "dancing" for some reason.

I never noticed that until I listened now - and you're right! Also, I noticed another audio glitch/inconsistency in this song!

At the start of the 2nd verse when she sings "Breathe me in, another dose / Take a ride on my rainbow" you can hear a pretty obvious cut right after "take a ride on-", and it sounds like "my rainbow" was pasted in there separately.

Is that just me?? I seriously can't unhear it!
