Adivnoir Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I still listen to 2hands2heaven weekly then tyrant and Leviis jeans sparingly. The album is great but it's not an easy listen if that makes sense.
Flanders Posted July 6 Posted July 6 There are some stings I still play on a weekly basis, but I don't play it nearly as much as I played renaissance the first year after it came out
Lost In Paradise Posted July 6 Posted July 6 II Hands II Heaven and 16 Carriages are still in my rotation playlist I did think I would play the album front to back more but I haven't done that as much as Renny
Kiss It Better Posted July 6 Posted July 6 literally just did about an hour ago, along with renaissance 1
Yakult Posted July 6 Posted July 6 16 CARRIAGES, II HANDS TO HEAVEN, DESERT EAGLE, BODYGUARD & SWEET HONEY BUCKIN' are on heavy rotation for me. Hadn't listened to the album front to back in a while, but re-listened to it this morning and it's ambitious and exciting as ever. I don't spin it in full as much as RENAISSANCE though; I'm more naturally drawn to electronic/pop/r&b/hip-hop in the summer + it's not as if Beyoncé has done anything to sustain interest in the era. Thank goodness the music is incredible. 1

SoJro101 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Can't wait until this year is over so everyone can bandwagon CC like they did RENA. CC is a solid Country/Americana album that goes head to head and exceeds most MPG's efforts in county music. A black woman did that.
Raphy23 Posted July 6 Posted July 6 I listen to 2 Most Wanted and Texas. They work for weekend drives up to the cottage.
Infatuation_Junkie Posted July 6 Posted July 6 No but this post reminded me that I want to revisit some songs.
Dolce Vita Posted July 6 Posted July 6 no i don't really care for country music but im sure it's a very nice album!
Ponzi Posted July 6 Posted July 6 1 hour ago, Marry The Gods said: No. I don't care for country. The next album needs to be fun and carefree. I would prefer another dance record that is more phoned in with rock influences. Ooh this could be really cute. I only listened to it once when it came out. I thought it was a grear cohesive album but country's not really my thing and it's a lengthy listen. Granted, there's a whole range of different genres and influences on it. I definitely need to give it another spin.
