nnnn some of y'all should probably listen to a Carrie Underwood album before voting :deadbanana4:

I think she makes good country music, but I don't think she's capable of an album like Red.

They're pretty tied for me. Would have been Carrie at the time but I've been listening to Taylor more lately

I love Carrie but let's try to be serious for a second.  Carrie has never put out an album like Speak Now or Red.

They're very different.  :michael:  Carrie is more of a Martina McBride type of artist and has a lot of classic Country bangers.  Taylor is more a confessional singer/songwriter type of artist; their appeal is different.

I honestly didn't even know that so it's not like it matters

Carrie has as much emotional and personal connection to the creation of that song as I do when I try to sing it at a karaoke bar like... she's absolutely a phenomenal and powerful vocalist but when we're having conversions about artistic output and compositional merit that's a mark against her :deadbanana4:

It's easily Taylor but don't expect ATRL to be objective about this. They'll vote for Carrie even if they didn't hear her albums outside of 2-3 songs :skull:

Carrie has some absolute banger singles, but honestly she's only got one album (Blown Away) that I would genuinely call front to back great. Some Hearts comes close to it, but the others don't even approach that line. To me the only Taylor country album not really worth listening to at all is Fearless.
