PoisonedIvy Posted June 8 Posted June 8 (edited) The way the results of these are going to be embarrassing The lack of Radiohead, OutKast, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Frank Ocean, etc. is going to be deafening. Edited June 8 by PoisonedIvy 4 1

Virgos Groove Posted June 8 Posted June 8 (edited) Spoiler 1. Beyoncé - Renaissance 2. Janet Jackson - The Velvet Rope 3. Jamie xx - In Colour 4. Lorde - Melodrama 5. Kelela - Raven 6. Bjork - Homogenic 7. Jessie Ware – What's Your Pleasure? 8. U2 – Achtung Baby 9. The Weeknd – House of Balloons 10. Kendrick Lamar – good kid, m.A.A.d city 11. Sade – Love Deluxe 12. Disclosure - Settle 13. Drake – Take Care 14. JAY-Z – The Black Album 15. Kanye West - Yeezus 16. Katy B – On a Mission 17. Frank Ocean – Channel Orange 18. Madonna – Ray of Light 19. Justin Timberlake – FutureSex/LoveSounds 20. Mariah Carey – The Emancipation of Mimi I tried doing a quick draft of albums I was considering and ended up with almost 40 albums. Narrowing them down to 20 was hard. It's more of a "fav albums of all time" list than anything, which is why it's so 2010s-heavy. I only picked one project per artist (sorry, ST ) and an album needed to have at least 100 scrobbles on my last.fm to be selected (Purple Rain and Loveless were so close ). I wanted to throw in some "obvious" picks (that I actually like) such as Abbey Road, Dummy or Back to Black, but 20 spots is a really small number. Sorry, @PoisonedIvy, but looks like you'll be doing the heavy lifting for the legends! I've recently been trying to expand my taste and getting into some older projects (Stevie's classic period, Maxwell and The Cranberries' debut albums, The Isley Brothers' Between the Sheets, some of Hole's albums, etc.) and while I loved them, I think it's too early for me to start putting them on my all-time list. Maybe in some future list. Edited June 8 by Virgos Groove 5 1

Jamie Starr Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Knowing the atrl will rank something like Born this Way over a masterpiece like Purple Rain (if it even makes the list) discourages me from submitting a top 20

But her 90s albums were so messy with the random remixes and interludes She peaked quality wise with Style and QoHP tbh
