Israel is mostly a military and tech proxy state for western powers and regional surveillance.  They know what is happening is extremely wrong, but they care more about "national security" and maintaining power in the region.  Took many decades to create and don't want to see it dismantled in a few years.

Of course a Joe "Proud Zionist" Biden stan is going to endorse Israel's attacks on both the UN spokesperson whose report confirmed no evidence or allegations to investigate of mass sexual assault, and the journalists who have referenced the report to debunk the claim by the Israel government that "there are no innocents in Gaza".

The clip you're seemingly referencing - tweeted out largely by right-wing Israel accounts (again, astroturfed) - includes Briahna wishing the woman well, telling her she's praying for her sister's return, and that she hopes her sister is safe, even after the woman goes on a racist rant about how "not siding with Israel" will lead to Muslims in Michigan "doing 9/11 2.0".

Good on Briahna for pushing back on a non-American suggesting America's Arab populations are just waiting to do "9/11 2.0".

The Ukrainian thing wasn't recent. It was on her Bad Faith podcast from two years ago or something. It just resurfaced because of the most recent incident because Israeli Jews and Ukrainians facing atrocities are cared about while Palestinians facing the same are not given the same consideration. Anyone could just deflect to Hamas being bad (while implying all Palestinians are Hamas) or just say straight out they believe Palestinians are vermin that should be exterminated.
