Knowing the Grammys, they'll give her a best electronic album nom and call it a day.

I'm a big fan of Charli's music up until Sucker. This album is completely devoid of original beats or lyrics. Wtf are critics thinking and why does anyone still care what they think? It is the same brainless "hyperpop" beats she's been bleeding dry for several eras now :rip: the way she is suddenly unable to write a catchy hook or memorable lyric

This. She is not bringing anything new to the table so I don't get why the critics are behind this album and not the others

I'm mystified by the acclaim it's getting. It was decent, nothing more.

Heard one snippet on TikTok and had to skip it quickly... How do you make pop music without memorable hooks or an ounce of a melodic structure :rip:

Critics are on cr*ck and it shows lmao

I agree that the acclaim is a bit much but  the acclaim is way too hyperbolic for many other pop girls with every boring album they drop, it's about time Charli gets her moment :khalyan2:

Loud, wrong, evil. Pick a struggle. :giraffe:

Considering the inflated scores of other albums that have been sneaking by for years, I'm perfectly fine with an excellent pop album like Brat getting its flowers, I'm just surprised it's happening when poptimism seemingly ended :rip:
