An album! The cover could be better, but I love the title, it's so her.

SOOO excited for Sabrina to come through with her first real big MPG album. I've been following her since Fast Times era and it's been so fun watching her explode in popularity since then. I have high hopes for the music, Emails was easily one of the best pop girl albums of 2022. :jonny5:

Mixed feelings on the cover, she looks pretty but it's a bit basic for her. There was potential to do something a bit more iconic with the lipstick kiss.

From 2007:

Aguilera offered no hints what that new style would be, but did make one promise: It will be a single album. "We're going to keep it short and sweet," she said.

Great decision and the album cover is very stunning. August 23rd is a bit far away tho.

Well then in that case, they need to have the next single ready for next month to not waste the hype.

That cover is a choice....

What a lazy vision.

I'm tired of people pretending like EICS is her debut...Evolution is stacked to the brim with bops. Put some respect on that album!

spill!!!!

I've been a fan since Thumbs and seeing her finally take off after almost 8 years is so satisfying :WAP:  really excited for the album, her team is super smart for capitalizing off of Espresso! hope this album is a massive hit for her, she deserves it :clap3:

The way she was just trying to release a fun new song to perform at Coachella, but her label saw the HUGE success of it and locked her in a studio for a month :deadbanana4:

this is the rule: "For a new artist who releases, during the Eligibility Year, the first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist."

This is Sabrina's 6th album though... if she gets nominated, it will be a MESS. :rip:  She will be nominated for Espresso anyway, so they should keep her out of this category.

OT: Cover is basic but wow her team is smart. They are doing everything right.

:coffee2:  She will be in the current Grammy cycle and can go head to head with the current darling Billie.  I think Espresso is a much bigger song than any of Billie's new stuff but the general field Grammys will still go to Billie.  AOTY to Billie but maybe Sabrina can pick up BPVA and/or Pop Solo.  Hopefully no other big names share her debut date, looking at you here Taylor.  We all know how Taylor likes to strangle the youngins in the crib before they take away from her success.

Her best chance is Pop Solo. The album will have no chance against Billie in BPVA (I highly doubt any album will beat her there) unless it does crazy numbers or generates another smash. Espresso is not the type of music they usually award, so I don't think the committee will go crazy over an album full of Espresso-like tracks.

It will also depends on Island Records. None of their artists have got a nomination in years and they barely push them to change it. They need to get their **** together.

A new song is coming on Thursday night. Maybe they will taste the waters with that one and push it when Espresso starts to go down on the charts + I'm sure the MV was already filmed since it's a sequel to Espresso of her getting away from the cops and finding a motel or sth
