Trent W Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Go lol Olivia is like 22 not 16. It's fine If someone bothers you, just scream the name of a nom-existent 12 year old niece and pretend you're watching from the very back 3
DiabeticGrandpa Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Tbh You're too adult to be listening to OR. Like I get liking one or two songs but a concert is going to be full of kids and i dont think you fit. Check other artists with more mature content perhaps? 1 1 4 4 2
Illuminati Posted May 31 Posted May 31 If I saw a single man at a pop girl's concert I wouldn't be thinking that he's there for the girls Have fun! 1
holyground13 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I've gone to many concerts alone - it can be nerve-wracking at first but it's 100% worth it. Generally at a concert no one is judging, but anyone who is judging someone for being alone is incredibly lame and totally worth ignoring. Enjoy the concert
toast Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Just go and mind your business, it's only weird if you try to mingle/start convos with said teenage girls
Johnny Jacobs Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Chile if i liked her and was 60 i would've gone. It's all about the vibe you give and not your age.
stars Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Nah, concerts are for everyone. But her audience is generally young, so you might be surrounded by parents and teenagers.
Green Posted May 31 Posted May 31 1 hour ago, punisher said: no, only weirdos think that only teenagers are allowed to like/see olivia rodrigo literally says more about them than you go, have fun, and enjoy seeing the music you like live. if you feel insecure about going just wear a crop top or something so people get the message
Shinning Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I don't see anything wrong. lbr the crowd at an Olivia concert is not any younger than let's say at a Taylor Swift concert despite the latter being much older. 2
Støned Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) Nothing to be ashamed of. I remember fondly back in 2005, my 30 something year old uncle went to Avril Lavigne's Bonez concert tour all by himself. We only found about it when he came back home with a smile on his face, saying he saw his idol up close. So don't mind your friends and enjoy your favorite artist. Edited May 31 by Støned
ATRL Moderator Samson Posted May 31 ATRL Moderator Posted May 31 Go. It's not like you're attending a Kidz Bop concert lol

When you stan a Barbra Streisand who never tours, then what
Mr. Peanutbutter Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Going by the title of this thread I expected you to be like 80 not 29. 29 is not that old Even if you were a senior citizen, there's nothing wrong with enjoying concerts by artists that you like
Saintlor Posted May 31 Posted May 31 3 minutes ago, SoldierofLove said: So it's ok if the 50+ year old man has gay face? Well if people assume they're gay they're not going to look like a creep for going to see a young girl 1
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted May 31 Posted May 31 People who are telling you you're too old to listen to her music need to be quiet, there are plenty of themes and lyrics in her music that are relatable to 20-30something adults who have been insecure, been through heartbreak, etc. Don't listen to them. You'll see plenty of 25+ year olds at her concert. You are only 29, it's not like you're a middle aged men going by yourself to a teenage girl's concert. You will be totally fine going by yourself, the truth is that no one will care who you're with, you are there for yourself and that's all you need to have a good time. If you love her music and really wanna go/can afford it, I say go. 1
