The flirtatious, Caribbean-infused track (which until their Turks meetup was, according to Harris, the only album cut created with a remote collaborator) isn’t Drake’s only C,XOXOappearance. On the nearly two-minute-long interlude “Uuugly,” sequenced immediately after “Hot Uptown,” he sings over soft synth beats and Cabello’s ghostly backing vocals. According to Harris, the interlude was Drake’s idea: “He wanted to do one more thing for the album.”

“Why does he have his own song? Because selfishly, I just want to hear Drake on my own album,” Cabello says with a laugh. “I love that for me — it’s like that rebellious mood. Who says I can’t do that? It’s Drake talking his sh-t.”

2 songs and one called UGLY :bibliahh:

I hope the album is better than He Knows. I need my girl to win this era. One of the things I have always loved about her is her songwriting, but He Knows and ILI sound so generic. I hope the lyrics bring a little more depth.

Sorry, she's doing background vocals on a Drake song.. on her own album? The desperation is unreal

ETA: Why am I getting hit with all negative reacts? I bought a copy of her last album. I'm just genuinely concerned to see this era turn into a revolving door of guest appearances. How tf is that supposed to help her establish a brand of her own? And lbr: Drake's image is in the pits of hell rn. It's not a good look

i disagree, i think the lyrics shine on both tracks. i think they are far better than the writing on Havana, Senorita, My Oh My etc

So nice to see her move past her n-word era by continuing to latch onto black artists for acceptance and relevance!

she is under the impression that if she collabs with enough black artist she's allowed to say the n word again

Drake having such a prominent role on her album right after Drake is publicly humilated in what has already become one of the most iconic rap feuds of all time that he so evidently LOST is so... on brand for Camila. Baddie gal Caca!
