Ivan_brit Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Britney ??? That's rare Also Tate looks unrecognizable at that cover
Richie.Valdez Posted May 29 Posted May 29 If the legend herself BRITNEY SPEARS approves then I must stan and stream Greedy and Exes once again 2
Mephisto Posted May 29 Posted May 29 The preview on their website sounds meh, like it was written by chatgpt.
Rev8 Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) Yea, pretty surprising Hopefully they payed Britney some big Buck, cuz this is a big honor Edited May 29 by Rev8

ImpressMeMuch Posted May 29 Posted May 29 good for her but more importantly good for me bc this reminded me of when brit covered v 3

Princess Aurora Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) I'm starting to think that one of the Tate Mcrae songs from her last album were written by Britney herself Edited May 29 by Princess Aurora 3
Soda Pop Queen Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) I'm actually shocked Britney would agree to do this. I would think she would want to wash her hands of the industry-unless another elder legend came calling to do something with her. I'm not a Tate fan but I am a Britney fan so will definitely be reading this when it surfaces. When was the last time Brit interviewed anyone or publicly talked to someone in the music industry? edit: lol the preview is not really giving but I'll still read when the full thing comes out . Edited May 29 by Soda Pop Queen
liquiddiamonds Posted May 29 Posted May 29 How is random when Tate is the new pop girl that seems inspired by Britney? Some of the others would even name Avril before Britney as an influence lol

They should've did Interview magazine instead. Way more natural and conversational setting. 3 hours ago, professor2000 said: I see what they're trying to do… I don't see it for young Tate (too generic right now) but it should be no surprise that the industry is wanting Britney to co-sign her. They do this with everyone, esp. artists they invest major dollars into (it happened with Britney and Madonna 20+ years ago). The music industry has always been cyclical with wanting established vets to mentor the young rookies. "Out with the old, in with the new" type of vibes.

People dininishing women's efforts and creative genius on ATRL? Disappointing but not surprised. Britney and Madonna was organic. there is no "out with the old, in with the new", at least not in the way you put it. it's women appreciating each other and supporting each other through shared experiences 1
