I'm one of the few women on here. y'all can definitely get more women here if this place wasn't still going on about dated topics like Britney vs Xtina lmao. There are plenty of women on stan twitter, for example, but they are here for more current stars (Taylor, Ariana, Olivia, Billie, Harry, Justin, The Weeknd, Kpop artists, etc). and ATRL isn't the most welcoming place for that discourse.

:bibliahh: gays will NEVER move on from that, this is the only place on the internet that still talks about christina aguilera like it's 2003

I joined as a teen 10+ years ago to lurk the Gaga base and stayed for the dramatics.    I don't post much but I do read every day and enjoy the lols!

I've discovered a lot of artists here that I really enjoy.  The only downside is that my music taste doesn't match a 30 year old straight woman aesthetic.   When I have people over or drive them in my car I use a more generic playlist.   When I'm alone it's all Troye, Charli and Chappell  :coffee:

Yeah, it's interesting how the site seems to attract mainly gay men. Pop queens have fans from all over, not just one group.

As one of the few women here, this website is obsessed with things that happened 20 years ago in the pop sphere and comes across as outdated sometimes. It's also very gay man-focused which isn't something I mind since I grew up around mostly gay male friends.

Women can be older and still be into pop culture, that's why r/Fauxmoi and r/Popculturechat have exploded in popularity over the past 2 years, before I didn't know any gossip reddits :rip:

lady here! I just assume everyone I interact with is male cause that's the main demo. I can't lie the sexual content on here can be :coffee: but I stay in my corner of the forum and it's fun.

Yeah that happens to me too, like the SYG thing for example. I've never really understood why ATRL is so obsessed with this thing, I don't find that engaging? There's definitely a lot of fuss about boring/random topics that are threaded like once a month and ATRLers seem to be very into it, like yeah sexual content, random comparison for the sake of fighting or old old things from decades ago. I also like to stay in a certain lane especially when it comes to certain fanbases.

Damn I had no idea you were a girl, that must be the reason why I always agree with your posts :bibliahh:

because most girls can easily find guys to date so they keep themselves busu with that and their other real life stuff

meanwhile gays just keep on craving for straight men cock which is a forbidden fruit so they come here to pass time and give some meaning to their miserable lives

They are actually women themselves so they have less reason to live vicariously through powerful women

I'm assuming the casual misogyny that part of gay Stan culture is off putting.

casual homophobia, and finding us off-putting for a myriad of reasons

very few straight women have a good time around gay men who are as unfiltered as a lot of this site - it does test the tolerance

Because they leave as soon as they notice the misogynistic behavior of many gay men here

And the homophobia we come across everytime we see/hear girls gossiping doesn't exist. Sure Jentleearthquaike

because this website is not a open place where swifties can show their freedom of speech. Swifties get bullied here.

Ngl, when those "Are you against or pro abortion?" polls in the Lounge popped up a few years ago I was really weirded out and i still get an icky feeling with thread titles such as "X singer looking 16!!" or the obsessive body/age comments that are casually thrown around. It's generally fun though, and the plethora of different topics makes it interesting. For the life of me i don't understand how yall have chart/tour receipts ready to post whenever there's a stanwar (that's been done already with the same tired arguments for 37838289 times) :deadvision:

There are more girls than what you think here but they just use this website as a source for some pop music. You'll probably not find them in the 5th daily thread "dua lipa is flopping why?" or obsessively checking for someone they dislike just to open their little dragging threads.

I'm here but there is seldom a reason to post. It's like you guys don't even care about Justin on here.
