"Top debut" do they imply she is getting blocked?

Top debut probably implies Taylor is blocking her cause normally they say if a new release goes #1 or not

I hope she gets the #1.

But if it was a close battle wouldn't they say Taylor Vs. Billie for the #1 album?

It could go either way. If Taylor was a lock for #1 they would have said it too like in the past weeks:

NEW RELEASES: "HELP" ARRIVES, SWIFT EXTENDS STREAK

On the album chart, Gunna's One of Wun (Young Stoner Life) will be the top debut with an early projection in the 60-65k range.

Taylor Swift's THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (Republic) will continue at #1 for a fourth consecutive week.

NEW RELEASE: LIPA IN LINE FOR A TOP DEBUT

Warner's Dua Lipa will have the top debut on next week's HITS Top 50 with her third album Radical Optimism. We anticipate that Lipa's 11-track set will open in the range of 55-65k.

Taylor Swift's THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (Republic) will log a third consecutive week at #1.

I can see this increasing to 280-300k by the end of the week. Good numbers :clap3:

Amazing numbers for Billie. Her fourth album could cross 500K at this rate, I have a lot of faith in her

great numbers! I think she'll end up doing 325k though. i feel like they are severely underestimating.

This should be enough to block Taylor since I dont think she shipped those exclusive physical copies yet with Daddy I Love Acoustic
