I'm sorry but it's Billie Eilish, like how much more "slowed down"/reverb can she get?!

:suburban:

She should have created 3x & 4x speed albums instead, somebody please tell her :duca:

Love Billie and love the album, but for an album that's so rich and layered vocally, applying this dumb slowed down / sped up trend is borderline sacrilege and a spit in the face of art.

yeah at this point it's not about wanting a #1 on the charts, it's about standing up to oppressive bullying and harassment. good onya billie :clap3:

Billie should have opted to lose with dignity instead of stooping this low. Then she would have been the real winner no matter what the outcome.

She should be embarassed.

nothing is lower than tay discounting Willow from 1.29 to 00.99 to 00.69 to 00.49 to 00.39 and still breaking the biggest drop from #1 record.

This is Billie's release week and she can so whatever she wants with it and she aint leaving without a fight.

It's always a kii that OTHs act like they are being oppressed for hating Taylor. Like... how tone deaf can you be?

Swifties have done more to keep me up to date on Billie's career than Billie or any of her fans have this past week :dies:

Anyways, I don't see why this necessarily makes Billie a hypocrite. If Billie cared about debuting #1 I don't think she would have given us the album that HMHAS is. This is probably just her team gunning for #1.

Taylor, on the other hand, decided to become a parody of herself, feeding into her fan's desire to create the most parasocial album-fan relationship experience and created 31 songs to assure she could reach the heights she so badly wanted to reach, a height that no one but her and her legion of zombies care about.

And before anyone says: "LOL the double standards for Billie!" Billie's been pretty consistent about standing by not caring about stuff. Meanwhile, Taylor had a passive aggressive meltdown on a filmed documentary because she didn't get an AOTY nom as if she hadn't already won it twice. :ahh:

This is her third album after an underperfomance, of course she cares about debuting at #1, she's still building her career. Her entire point in that interview a month ago is that certain veterans are still obsessed with numbers which honestly is indeed pretty pathetic and obviously struck a chord judging by the hysterical response.

Good for her for fighting against the incessant war against all younger and more talented female artists. Enough of the harassment and bullying.

Honestly, this. Minus the embarrassed part.

It would've been iconic of her to debut at #2 and let her team feed stories to the media about how Taylor sabotaged her debut week.

She'd get sympathy votes from Grammy voters who are all likely tired of Taylor's antics.

Does anybody actually listen to sped up/slowed down versions more than once or twice?

and the discounts were done in willow debut week and the drop is not really related to the discounts:rip:

and according to your logic taylor could do whatever she wanted because it was willow debut week:bibliahh:

Billie's highest sales week of her career happened because of this wack chart battle tho???? I wouldn't say she should be "embarrassed" at all for trying to get a deserved #1 lol. UMG should be embarrassed for being big and greedy turning two of their artists fan bases against eachother for no good reason besides $$$$$$$$$$ grabs.

go get her! :hippo:
