According to Apple Music's ranking, 1989 is the superior album, sitting at #18. Beyoncé's self titled, is further up at 36. Do you agree that as an album (lyrically, vocally, production, artistry, impact, accolades, legacy), 1989 ate up the Levi's Jeans singer?

Nope. Now if they would've gone with folklore/evermore...

As if.

BEYONCÉ is among Beyoncé's best work, arguably the best all thing considered.

Taylor swift's best album would compare to Beyoncé's 5th or 6th best.

Just now, Rama said:

... it wouldn't change anything. They're good albums but not on the level of what Beyoncé's been doing since ST.

Maybe you can compare them to 4 but even that sounds like blasphemy if you ask me considering the disparity between Beyoncé's delivery and vocal performance on that album compared to taylor.

I'd say self ttiled has way higher highs but also has lower lows. No offense but Fadless, 9/11 and Shitty Hurts are NOISE :sorry:. I'm glad my first self titled listen was accidentally on shuffle and I started with Jealous cause I wouldve stopped half way thru PH and never went back to it. While 1989s biggest offensor are Welcome to Pionyang and Bad Blood.

I do prefer 1989 as I have much more memories tied to it. It basically was the soundtrack to my first relationship.

Apple music is really off their rocker with this list lol. Really showing questionable taste. It's giving Pitchfork's top 200 albums of the 2010s :deadvision:

It's self-titled for me. I like songs on 1989 but I find the whole vibe of that album to be grating.

1989 was an iconic era filled with big hits whereas the other one is forgotten along with the rest of the disco

BEYONCÉ's the reason why miss Taylor along with the others participate in New Music Friday.

Easily

BEYONCÉ is her best album but it is only slightly better than Taylor's debut album and that's it.
