The autistic scandal ended her

honestly, it's one of those rare scandals that feels like it actually stuck. building an audience that connected to her mental health struggles and then 1) making a tone deaf mess like Music and 2) defending it with even dumber comments really bit her in the ass. you can't preach about mental health and then turn around to be defiantly ableist and not expect repercussions.

she maybe could've saved face a bit if the follow up music was good, but she's also getting more and more bland there. at least with This Is Acting she had the "they're rejected songs for other people" excuse. it's a shame she fell off so hard, both as an artist and person in general.

:clap3: she should go back to Adelaide and make music there. Hollywood turned her into sth so weird.

I pretty much love anything Sia but this album was kinda the pits. It feels completely phoned in.

She shaded Avril and now Karma got her :clap3:

OMG when?

She needs to go back to her fun Quirky music like her 2010 album. Middle America would eat that UP. :clap3:

Her peak was in 2016 this is not a suprise. People are still listening to her since unstoppable was a cute small hit but nothing major since then

Really don't know what happened to her career after that movie about autism she made. It's sad because she's a very good artist.

The scandal stuck because Sia's career was running on fumes by then. Had it taken place in 2015/16, she would've made it through unscathed. She effectively lost the support of the only people who were sticking by her with that whole ordeal.

The label switch didn't help either.  I don't think Atlantic believed in her like they claimed.  I feel like she's never promoted now.  Who would've thought RCA would be a better choice in any situation :skull:

I mean the album is terrible, bland and uninspired, so it makes sense :michael:

but this is her first album with them :rip: tho they did her Xmas album which was extremely successful, i thought that was still RCA. this, Music and Xmas is 3 albums so maybe she's almost free.
