i just don't understand why billie feels like she needs to pass judgement on fellow artists' business practices or how they choose to write their songs (as seen on the new zane lowe interview, which is easily another taylor shade)? taylor is not one to let stuff like that slide, she also doesn't say anything negative about anyone or how they handle their careers yet gets that **** from younger artists. talk **** get whacked

Billie is the epitome of a connected nepo baby that desperately wants to be seen as an indie artist and as a 'free spirit'. Her vegan save the turtles nonsense facade is falling now and people are waking up to see how fake and hypocritical she is.

Why the yikes? I'm black, it's a phrase I've heard throughout my whole life and it applies here. It is what it is.

Madonna was shading her contemporaries left and right in the 90s. Janet, Mariah, and Whitney had their retaliatory moments too. It's just the competitive nature of the industry, and it's a component of an ascent to the top. At the end of the day these minuscule footnotes in their careers aren't what they're remembered for, but the lasting legacy of their artistry & the numbers that back it up.

Plus it's entertaining as hell to witness in real time. :dies:

Yeah this is standard industry practice

Billie and Olivia also were kinda taking over in 2019-2021

Both had bigger eras than Lover and Folklore/evermore( at the time)

Then Taylor rides a bigger wave and passes both in late 2021 and 2022

People need to get over it

I also think this is boosting Billie's album, everyone has been talking about both all week

Wouldn't be surprised that their teams planned the feud, it's smart

How on earth is Taylor doing both more SEA and pure sales than Billie??

Cause shes pulling more daily streaming numbers than Billie. It's not rocket science.

Not Billie putting these great numbers, only to not get the #1 on either Billboard Hot 100 and 200. :deadbanana4:

no but it's actually hilarious how offended she (and her cult) was over billie's statement :ahh:

It was a statement that could easily apply to the industry as a whole but hit dogs are gonna holler :skull:

Welp. I feel like she should just accept that she will be criticized from time to time (and rightfully so; being a big artist does not make you immune to constructive criticism). Being fixated on karma and revenge as a result might actually only make her look discontent and greedy. But it is what it is at the end of the day. The numbers don't lie

Oh Taylor... You're not really gaining absolutely anything by getting that #1, but there's so much to lose. Things like this pile up...

she is intentionally curating her downfall from her current peak in order to have a comeback narrative for rep TV once more :gaycat3:

The biggest kii in all this is that no matter how it turns out, you're still comparing Taylor's 5th week to Billie's debut week :deadbanana2:

Yikes

Who are you to say "yIkEs" to a black person when you're a trump supporter?

ot: this thread is so hilarious, the foam coming out of some users mouths :rip:

I love how her fans are crazy but not the ones spamming replies about her like a rabid dog for years on end and obsessively following her every move

The way there is no fighting back against this from Billie's side that won't make her a complete hypocrite she really set herself up

Right. She should've not kept saying how cool she is by supposedly not caring about this lol
