when billie said what she said, everyone hating on this thread was so shady and made sure other people know that she shaded taylor.

now that taylor released something, suddenly yall agreed that "Billie made a comment that in NO way was directed towards her"?

so whats the truth?

She has a team that works to maximize her already huge numbers and thats what they do.

I don't think she, with the visibility and numbers she has, should allow it in the way she does, even in a PR perspective.

But she probably agrees with it and just think it's fair game, like a company.

She and her team are not sabotaging, she's just maximizing her own.

Anyway, this is nothing new and record labels out there does even worse things when they literally overpay another payola to change a race for #1 on radio, for example. Stop playing X and start playing Y. Thats actually sabotaging and it happens all the time, as exposed by a Rolling Stone article. Warner Records, for example.

Taylor is maximizing her own.

how many pics from this photoshoot does she have

This is so unnecessary, for any artist really. I hate when there's more than 2 options to pick from but go off Taylor...

What a narcissistic capitalist. Remember it was only during streaming she started releasing 10 albums a year with +30 tracks. She never made an album with 30 song or 25 when people had to buy them in 2000s and 2010s because it was not convenient for charts.

So glad Adele's record remains untouched. :heart2: Try 40 songs next time. Too bad I don't think she will pull 2.6M again.

More like Billie shading abundance of variants with exclusives created all this pandemonium and Swifties and apparently Taylor herself can't let it go

Taylor's petty for this but she better get that #1 cause this will be more embarrassing

It wont be embarrassing at all, its digital only and last 6 hours?

Imagine the mess if Billie actually debuts at #2 becuz of this though :fan:

If Billie debuts at #2 over 3 voice memo drafts, her album wasn't that good and she didn't deserve the #1.

How many sea turtles killing randomized variants did you buy for a chance to get a signed copy? I hear it's tough out there :dies:

Oh yeah, didn't you have to buy a minimum of 3 copies to even qualify or some ****?

not sure about this. even if they sell 30k, that will less than 100k dollars for her.

I don't think it's about the money for her. Taylor knows most people will not buy this. (I certainly didn't, but I've heard the demos already).

Oh wow. its almost like Gorillaz/Blur arent impactful and influential in their own right, and that it has nothing to do with Taylor at all :rip:Taylor must really have a big of an ego if she really thought that had anything to do with her. But with what shes currently doing, i wouldn't be surprised.

Blur is literally one of the biggest britpop bands of all time lmfao, there's no way they're not impactful and influential.

If only McDonalds were the Taylor Swift of the food industry, but they would need acclaim and awards for that :chick3:

Not to mention they're the best seller because of their diminished costs, meanwhile Taylor's physical products sell at an equal or higher rate than most of her peers. :clap3:

They're not doing the diminished costs **** anymore. Looks like Israel/Palestine hit them hard.

I think you're confusing Billie for Taylor. Let's recap.

Midnights had 4 vinyl variants, TTPD has 4 vinyl variants.

Happier Than Ever had 15 vinyl variants, Hit Me Hard has 15 vinyl variants.

Hope this helps!

:ryan3:

Literally more vinyl variants than tracks on the album jfc

Except Adele's records almost always feel like it's the exact same song, ctrl+c, ctrl+v.

That wasn't up to her. She wrote and recorded 30-50 songs per era and her label chose the ones that made the cut. Her debut album has up to 100 songs, which includes released and unreleased. So you tell me whether or not she's "never made an album with 30 songs." If she had the freedom to do what she wanted back then, it would probably look a lot like what she's doing today. Also, not all artists can even write 30 songs by themselves and consistently release long tracklistings like Taylor, so we'll take that as a compliment.

She has re-released albums with 20-ish or more tracks dating back to Fearless in 2008 :rip: If you're gonna try to drag, at least come correct
