Coldplay, with Viva La Vida copied the style of Arcade Fire, then they followed the edm trend, until they ended up in their last album collaborating with BTS.

Besides, their last tours are too similar. I can understand that they are a band, but they should also innovate in their stage like U2, Muse, Arcade Fire, Rammstein.

Coldplay straight up mentioned Arcade Fire as a reference, there is nothing wrong with that. It's because of bigger artists drawing inspiration that these Pitchfork bands get to brag about being influential. I agree they could experiment more with the stage itself on live performances but they have been innovating in other fields already, Mylo Xyloto popularized the wristbands and Music of the Spheres is laying the blueprint for eco-friendly stadium tours.

the weeknd. :rip:

i loved his melancholy r&b style. the forced MJ-lite crossover is where i draw the line.

He's the main one for me. I loved the artist he debuted as; he was one of my top favorites then, peaking with Kiss Land. And then he started switching up his sound, falling lower and lower in the ranks for me, starting with "Can't Feel My Face." It was frustrating to witness that in real-time. I still enjoy his music, but not as much as I used to; not by a long shot.

Gaga is the biggest one. She said "i am an artist not a celebrity", and that she wants to date real men not actors, and then became everything she used to say she is not. And then she became an even more shameful life form: an avon lady corporate cashcow, who pushes things like luxury watches, oreos, medication and champagne :deadbanana4:. And no album in 4 years. I still love her music but she is definitely the worst of the worst.

All this meltdown because she took some time to release an album after working non-stop for 10 years :bam:

Yet she has:

-An upcoming concert recording

-And upcoming film

-An upcoming album

-Upcoming Vegas shows

She hasn't worked "non-stop" in 11 years, since that joke of a man became her manager. She had a lot of periods of extended rest, consecutive months. Going by any objective definition, she is very lazy. Imagine if she had to work like a regular person.
