I finally got around to listen to that 'Karnival' song. Idk why but I was expecting Kesha 'Joyride' vibes and instead I was presented with the 58th failed attempt at a reincarnation of 'Fuego'.  

I guess it'll be a cute safe Top 20 for Albania after 5 years missing the cut but why the hype?

Elvana's performance of Karnaval was such a flop. There was practically zero choreography, she just stood there and wiggled around stage.

 

I'm back to supporting either Zjerm or I Pare for the win

Karnaval performance not great but still better than whatever that Zjerm performance was

I liked Elvana's performance and it was clearly the best. She looked fantastic. Albania will have the best chance with her.

The only saving grace for a boring ass song like Karnaval would have been a great performance... which we didn't get. I was fully on board with Elvana on her previous attempt, but this one is tired af.. the melodramatic intro transitioning into a dated bop attempt, the lack of energy, her barely being able to walk on too of her dancers for some reason in the middle of it all... 

 

If there's a safe qualifier in these songs somewhere, it's Amane and I'm shocked not more people are talking about it.

 

Personally, it's a Zjerm supremacy for me, it's the best thing Albania has offered in a long long time, if not ever.
