I like both but Dua writes more of her own music and gives a little more when performing live but Rihanna is also a successful business woman which is a talent in itself

I give credit for Dua trying to improve her performance skills after getting dragged. So brownie points there. But Riri is better with her consistency, concepts, visuals and vocals.

Rihanna. Dua has yet to have a praised vocal performance like Rihanna has for Diamonds, Stay, Love On The Brain, etc. Neither are great dancers. Writing.. . 

 

Dua has better show production but that's not her talent.

I prefer Rihanna's music but objectively, Dua has the better vocals and co-writes her songs.

dua lipa is heavily involved in the creation of her songs....we know miss fenty isn't. 

 

also dua's live vocal is better.

 

but rihanna clearly paved the way

Dua hands down, she's more consistent live (and I used to Stan Rih) and upped her stage presence.

 

Both have immediately distinguishable voices though.

They both have nice, eargrabbing tones that adds their own distinct vocal stamps to their songs & their dancing abilities aren't too far from each other so in those aspects they're even. 

 

However, I find that Rihanna is better at emoting when singing & has a more versatile voice, & while Dua's come a long way Rihanna's also generally a more charismatic performer, so my vote is for Rih.

 

Love them both tho.
