In comparison, lover, an album released almost 5 years ago is doing more streams than it daily. What is going on? Is it because people don't like country? She's taking a different route to her career and it works perfectly fine because she is the second most successful woman in touring right behind Taylor. That's where all the money is. Flanders Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 (edited) Lack of commercial appeal and replay value It's very ambitious and the quality is there though, so the album will probably stand the test of time. Texas was such a promising start but there are few other songs that have the same type of casual listening quality+replay value on the album, and she doesn't promote the ones that do.
