Not bad numbers but the second week drop will get nasty. And it won't have any legs due to the lack of hits

I really don't know what happened… Maybe the overexposure? She's been everywhere for the last few years. It actually feels like she never left.

"You guys never learnt. When it comes for Dua, longevity is her games style. Debut week means nothing." ~ Katara

Yes, where is the good sis @katara?

She had so much to say about 'TTPD' all week long, but now that their fave has dropped, it's suddenly quiet…

Thats amazing numbers for her standards:clap3:

People actually think it's not a disaster? I mean, she's Dua Lipa. She just had one of the biggest hits recently.

Should we wait for January numbers?

Which just goes to show that having hits means nothing if people aren't interested in you as an artist.

A Swiftie complaining about anyone else's overexposure is... rich,  I'll say that :toofunny2:

These are okay numbers for a B Lister, but it's Dua Lipa we're talking about, she should've done 90k - 120k minimum.

I felt that she should've released her album late 2022. A 4 year gap clearly doesn't work for her.

They are not complaining about anyone's exposure. :rip:

They just question if this has anything to do with potential exposure. They didn't state they minded Dua's presence.

I don't see how anyone can say these numbers are fine. These are outright horrendous.

She just had a big hit last Summer that carried on into the Winter. Not even just that, but she had a sold out arena tour before that. It's not as if she was a struggling artist for the past four years. To go from that to this is incredibly alarming.

Her career is done. No one cares about her anymore.

HDD: Dua 55-65k, Taylor #1

This is sending me for some reason. :gaycat6:

is Dua becoming a singles artist now?? It's hard to understand her not getting at least 100K in her debut week.

I also see Taylor doing another 230-250K this week.

It will serve longevity

Future Nostalgia was #62 year end in its 1st year and only went up after

And you think this album will have the same longevity FN had?:bibliahh:

She had released all the potential songs and they all floped.

She's suffering enough this week, can we give her that one thing :fan:

This only being six pages is kind of surprising

The thread title is ruthless :deadbanana2:

I expected more considering FN was a huge era, just like Gaga went from The Fame to BTW (first week) although not that big considering Gaga had much bigger peak or at least Katy/Miley's numbers (100K in this sale's climate).

Literally HOW is this doing THE GIFT's/ SMILE'S numbers? Tbh, I think Billie is going to flop as well.

Again the US…. Hate females.

- Doja Cat - Scarlet = 72k

- Tate McRae - Think Later = 66k
- Lizzo - Special = 69k

- Megan Thee Stallion - Traumazine = 63k

- Shakira - Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran = 34k

- P!nk - Trustfall = 74k

- Kelly Clarkson - Chemistry = 53k

- Avril Lavigne - Love Sux = 31k

- Lorde - Solar Power = 56k

- Charli XCX - Crash = 31k

- Kylie Minogue - Tension = 24k

How could any of this albums debut above 75k at least or went #1????

Tasteless

Since this is an HDD thread, Lorde had 64k on the HDD chart, but Billboard wouldn't count the digital release.
