And Anti-Hero was pretty local as well. She has no global hits actually. Cruel Summer was big in the Anglosphere and some Asian countries, but that's about it. 3 1 10

Goaty Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Her instincts for choosing a lead single continue to puzzle me (I don't like the song much), but by no means is this serving "no longevity." 1
Popular Post Klein Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 Only on ATRL will you read that a song doing 8M streams has no longevity. Meanwhile, doing 1-1.5M streams 3 months after release is considered the epitome of longevity. 17 1
Illuminati Posted May 3 Posted May 3 19 minutes ago, playwithme said: It has little longevity considering the big drop and non-stop bleeding. Also, spending only a single week at number one is not a good look for someone who is considered to be the biggest pop star on the planet at her peak. And it's a feature on top of that. For comparison, Flowers spent 10 consecutive weeks at #1 in the UK. To be fair Flowers did not translate into any album success at all, which was a huge surprise. Taylor has people listening to 31 new songs, that's gonna handicap the single somewhat unless it gains its own virality like Flowers or Anti Hero.

UnusualBoy Posted May 3 Posted May 3 The song is doing 8 million daily after 2 weeks, how's that having no longevity? Especially with other 30 tracks cannibalizing streams and 2 of them basically acting as singles too (ICDIWABH doing still doing 5 million and DB doing 4 million)
WildHeart Posted May 3 Posted May 3 30 minutes ago, Shinning said: It is absolutely mostly the fanbase. Y'all are BTS fans-level deranged. The amount of streaming farms being done for this album must be insane. Stop projecting your fave's lack of GP reach into others 4
Digitalism Posted May 3 Posted May 3 This is probably doing like 5 million from the fan base alone and 3 from the GP 4 3

DeadInside Posted May 3 Posted May 3 It's a snooze. Her biggest hits are bops. The fact that the boppiest song on the album is doing so well shows that. 1
JonginBey Posted May 3 Posted May 3 With the exception of Anti Hero, this has pretty much been the case with her since cardigan (though this song did deserve better). 1 1
Feanor Posted May 3 Posted May 3 54 minutes ago, 4Real said: You really think anyone other than Taylor fans are streaming this album daily? Taylor fans alone can't make this album get 75M streams daily almost 2 weeks into its release. That's a benchmark that only one other female artist has ever reached, and that was for one day only. So unless you're suggesting that none of these female artists have GP support either, then yes, the fans and public alike are streaming this album daily. 11
halcyonday Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Idk, because Taylor Swift is over? Is this what you wanna hear? Well, she WON'T be over never and she will be the biggest female artist of all time. 3
