I haven't listened yet, but ****. Is this her solar power? I liked all the singles though.

Not the Tortured Panned Department ending the radical poptimism like that. :biblionny:

these scores are awful for a pop album in 2024... what happened here

@SinnerCity Why do you disagree?

Well, the world is finally starting to see that her music isn't as revolutionary as certain pop fans try to make it out to be.

Even though her fans might think otherwise, if she really wants to make it as a pop star and keep going, she should make some changes. It could help if she takes a break to think about who she really is as a pop artist and tries out a new image. Also, she could consider taking dance lessons to make her performances better, especially since her vocal range is limited.

Poptism lasted a decade and some "MPGs" didn't get an universally acclaimed album in that time period. Crazy :ryan3:

And yet somehow Charlie Puth managed to snatch 1 universally acclaimed album :fan: and not his best one

Not y'all saying poptimism is dead about two pop albums in the 70s. Teenage Dream got a FIFTY-SIX. ARTPOP got a SIXTY-ONE.

Poptimism is alive and well, TTPD and RO would be in the mid 60s and 50s prior to poptimism.

This thread aged badly after Billie released

The album just sucked, same with TTPD

Cowboy Carter and HMHAS both are great, and deserve their scores

i think radical optimism faced the same thing that 'solar power' and 'rare' faced.. they are 'healing albums' that seems so forced and lacks ambition
