Her whole career is carried by radio and playlisting. Shes almost 10 years into her career and can't even debut high anywhere bar the UK/Australia. A lot of my friends and I felt like it sounds very same-y, and Illusion kinda sealed the deal since its giving budget Hallucinate. Obsession Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) No hits - she doesn't really inspire a cult of personality so she doesn't have fans and lives/dies by the hit. I think DTN sounding like FN and being SO close to the singles for this sounding like that as well tripped the singles up. Then the album itself is much more attuned to European sensibilities than American sensibilities. Not really sure other than Whatcha Doing what could click Stateside. We'll see what happens but I think at worst, she'll end up going the path of Kylie where she's just popular everywhere else but America. Edited May 2 by Obsession
