How is Taylor any more "McDonalds" than any of the commercial pop stars this site stan exactly? This site is ENTIRELY based on worshipping top 40 pop stars making VERY commercial music, stop with this BS already. Most of your faves would NEVER release an album full of piano ballads and midtempos songs at the height of their careers :bibliahh:

I mean you have Beyonce, a ATRL darling, releasing a very country album just when country becomes massively popular again yet i'm supposed to believe she's not about the charts? And that's just one example. I like Beyonce but let's call things the way they are.

None of ATRL's pop faves are "anti-commercial" in any way, if Taylor is "McDonalds" then all of your faves are Burger King.

Gather the Burger Queens! I'll take the better fries and bigger sales.

Too bad she'll lose this record when Down Bad goes #1 as an official single.

Okay, but Taylor Swift get a #1 in Tajikistan, Burkina Faso, or East Timor? If not, she's so local. :eli:

Phew the power of this era is too god damn much. Usually I don't click with the "ME!" chanteuse but TTPD is just to damn good, I'm onboard and interested now I fear.

What if it was Feather that beat it out for #50 to save itself?

With these placements, she also breaks the record for most simultaneous top forty entries, as predicted!

Technically she achieved 14 new #1 singles :ryan3:

Wouldn't surprise me when one of her future albums will have a 16 week rollout, releasing a track every week until all tracks form the album. All songs would go #1, thus having an album with only #1's.

It will be another record for Taylor and the swifties to get their validation. Quote me, this will happen.

Not a bad idea to do a 10-single rollout actually.
she has nothing more to accomplish on the album front, and if even the streaming stability of TTPD mirrors that of midnights, it'll go on a "one thing at a time" run basically, albeit less of her units will come from streams, more from physical sales.

she just needs to save a few hundred

thousand preorders from shipping until Billie's release week to block her for talking shiet and she'll be all set.

So she might well relesse singles next, if fortnight can get 25m alongside with 30 other tracks, she might get over 30m when it's released on its own.

and of course, she'll beat that Katy Perry 5/6 #1 fkin an album record, stick it to her for being so cocky in the early 2010s.
