It was a moderate hit in the US but didn't peak inside the top 10. Florence alone scored a top 10 with Calvin Harris.... But as a band, this is their first top 10 x

This is such a tremendous feat for an artist like Taylor Swift. How is Taylor any more "McDonalds" than any of the commercial pop stars this site stan exactly? This site is ENTIRELY based on worshipping top 40 pop stars making VERY commercial music, stop with this BS already. Most of your faves would NEVER release an album full of piano ballads and midtempos songs at the height of their careers 

 

I mean you have Beyonce, a ATRL darling, releasing a very country album just when country becomes massively popular again yet i'm supposed to believe she's not about the charts? And that's just one example. I like Beyonce but let's call things the way they are. 

 

None of ATRL's pop faves are "anti-commercial" in any way, if Taylor is "McDonalds" then all of your faves are Burger King.

Yeah, a forum full of stans of commercial pop stars complain about Taylor being a commercial pop star, it literally makes ZERO sense. They're only saying that because she's been consistently successful since the beginning of her career and has never flopped in any way, so they're mad about it. Of all the coping surrounding Taylor's success it has the be the weirdest and most hypocritical one.

 

What's next, fans of Jennifer Lopez complaining about another actress for doing many romantic comedies? Or Britney stans complaining about someone else lip-syncing?
