Well no one can say this about J.lo fans :keir:

And I think we all know why

Imagine being so one-dimensional when there is a huge variety of music out there

This coming from a ts stan is :rip:

I'm not a "ts" stan. She's not even my #1 most played artist. Nice try tho.

Deftones stans

the ones who think their fav's output can reasonably be compared with someone's like Kate Bush's or Brian Wilson's :rip:

dgmw, I still love a lot of her music, but it's really getting wild out here. you can be a fan and still be realistic

FAIR tbh my ex boyfriend was a HUGE Deftones stan and any music I showed him not in that genre (even though he claimed to be open-minded) was just heavily dismissed

No, we are aware enough to know this sites' perception of fanbases, the same way everyone here knows what "*" means in album sales threads or the nonsense that comes about when people make threads about writing credits targeting Beyoncé. Y'all are not as clever as you think you are :rip:

And as this entire thread is anecdotal, Taylor hasn't been my most played artist for multiple years now, currently it is Foxes, Beyoncé, and Ariana Grande :suburban:

People don't just think it's swiftys for no reason. There must be some truth behind it for so many people think it.

I don't think that about any fanbase, but I certainly think that ATRL as a whole predominantly listens to the same 8 artists.

Hardcore Taylor Fans, but you also have 5,000 songs to listen to so I guess it sort of makes sense

stans will listen to their favs only, nothing new there x

Swifties get 1000 songs a month so there's no need for them to listen to other artists

Damn.

Swifties but they're also the only fanbase that actually listens to their fave. Other fanbases will spend their entire time talking about other artists and forget to support their faves

Swifties. They also believe music was created in 2006 with a song called "Tim McGraw."

Without a doubt, the hardcore Hives. The Hives believe Beyonce is the best at everything, and look down on other artists, and by extension think they themselves are better.  The Swifties are at least humble and sane enough to understand Taylor's strengths and weaknesses.
