It's just bland. Her voice is so one dimensional. I only kept Candy Paint

Do we know why "Fair" was excluded from the album?

Only one HARV produced song made the cut. He's signed to her old manager so maybe that was a factor? Also, Fair's commercial performance.

tantrums final minute >>>>>>>>>>>

solid album. it doesn't have a strong track that stands out to be a big hit. I'm sure candy paint was the closest to it though it's not looking like it's about to blow up. anyways I think it will be one of the most streamed r&b albums by me this year.

Tantrums really grew on me. Giving Rihanna needed me vibes. Starting to really like Little Secrets but I can't put my finger on what it reminds me of. Timbaland beats? Janet? I have no idea but I want to love it

For me Little Secrets uses the same bass from Beyoncé's Deja vu

I don't agree. I think Big Boy can be a cute Top 40 or top 20 hit.  All Yours and Lights on can also do a lil sum sum.

Honestly having a hit nowadays doesn't weight as much as it used to because it's so saturated by streaming farms and labels paying their way into play listings. Even songs that sound like big hits get drowned by these tactics.

I wish big boy didnt have that low-quality vocal effect. I saw an edit of that song over a beyonce video and it just sounds so horribly produced :coffee:

I do really wonder what the HARV/Ryan Tedder stuff she worked on sounded like.

Little Secrets sounds like it could be a Danity Kane song. It wouldn't sound out of place in their discography.

It's my favorite song on the album, loved it the minute I heard it.

we NEED a music video girlie :rip: i'm really happy with the album but it's so sad as a longtime fan to see this botched rollout bc she deserves so much better than dropping a great album into the ether

the album deserves to be promoted

too bad she's probably going to ditch it soon and it's not like she was promoting it in the first place

still the only album i've been playing since release

I think Waves, Fair & even Motivation all fit in this album tbh and it would still be cohesive af. she should pull a dua

add Slow Down, Checklist, Love Lies & Dancing With the Stranger too and tuck it all in the end of album as a Complete Edition since this is literally all from her debut era anyways

Listened to the whole album twice today. We waited so long and the expectations were high. But it doesn't disappoint.

I'm just glad we got a stellar rnb album.

My thing is, if she's indeed dropping visuals, it should've accompanied the album…. I'm sorry but this is 2024. They need to strike while the iron is hot. Wait too long and these ppl won't care anymore

I think her hairstylist posted last week her schedule which was like Paris, NY, Paris and there was more on the schedule. I should find the full ig screenshot.

It's normal for videos to delay. IF she started filming after announcing the date I understand that maybe they didn't want the backlash of delaying it. It is what it is

Considering this doesn't have cd's or vinyls, i guess overall she will get like maybe 15k-18k first week? Which would be like around the top 80.

She's with Tems in Paris at the moment. But we know Lydia and Mani were in Paris earlier in the week now.

Didn't HARV co produce Lights On?
