shelven Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Wild Side is clearly representative of the sonic direction she was going in as she put Dopamine together and it was always intended to be the lead single of her debut album before things got derailed in 2022. I honestly would have been more surprised if it wasn't on Dopamine. Poor Fair though, gone but never forgotten (to me at least, half the fandom has probably already forgotten ha) 6

But one of her parents, I think her dad, got cancer and her mom just recovered from cancer and is in remission.
Saint James Posted June 1 Posted June 1 based on how things are looking right now, she will split with RCA in the next 12 months on 'amicable terms'.

Papi Juancho Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Poor girl, her debut should have been in 2019 - early 2020 with a pop/r&b album for all demographics. Then she could focus on a more specific market. The music she's releasing since 2022 is so bad and it's no a secret that RCA is not gonna give her budget to promote the album. 5

I lowkey thought that's what was gonna happen when she disappeared after "Fair". Might be for the best to get new energy. But getting out an album is a step in the right direction to kickstart momentum. Need to drop a follow-up shortly after signing elsewhere though…no breaks. 1 1 1
GardenPanty Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I really do think she's going to get dropped. The rollout for this album is so uneventful, it's like she's just doing things to fulfill contractual obligations. Dropping Candy Paint with no announcement? what was she thinking also, the fact that the article said Candy Paint is one of the album's highlights has me scared ngl. 1
Gossip_Boy Posted June 2 Posted June 2 RCA sucks ass. I wish they would drop her so she can go elsewhere where she's going to get the treatment she deserves. Loving all the songs thus far. This is shaping up to be one of my favourite albums of the year.
