Her having sex with him there was wrong. Her classifying him as an independent contractor was not. Being a photographer for the most part is an independent contractor unless it's for the operations of the business (like a photography studio, magazine). If he was her accountant, secretary, or something like that, then he can argue that he should have been on W2. Being classified as an employee vs. independent contractor is based on what you do, not how long you do it for. With that being said, as an independent contractor you're not entitled to health care and all that jazz. Even if you were a W2 employee working part time, you're not entitled to healthcare.

Yes there is. One was a minor, faced justice & is rightfully carrying life long consequences. 
 

The other is an adult, who forced someone to silence with an NDA, created a hostile work environment, shamed them & had enough predatory insight to commit the act in a country with little US jurisdiction. 
 

Reaching for excuses is not a good look.

What did you expect her lawyer to say? 
 

The victim cited the incident as part of the hostile work environment created & it is part of the context of the suit. It's literally the first item listed in the 42 page suit .

 

I suppose you consider Lizzo's dancers liars & defamers, too? 

 

Ridiculous. You don't bring forward a case like this & risk years of litigation against a superstar with infinite access to resources, and risk perjury, without facts.

Wow. This thread turning into a nicki-hate thread was not what I expected. I thought stans would at least be able to discuss such awful news without having to bring other artists into it (who have no correlation at all to the case). 

 

Anyway, I hope he gets the justice he deserves and that she REPENTS for the (allegedly) evil, twisted and disgusting things she did that day and throughout the years to this poor man.
