Oh plss. Beyonce does the same thing. The only difference is Taylor actually controls her career and strategically plans it while Beyonce's team does it for her and behind her.

beyonce been her own manager since 2010 and created her own entertainment company that year too

what are you talking about :ahh:

She's so insufferable. I will NEVER understand the craze over this basic girl.

There was literally NO reason for the alt editions in the pre-release to TTPD for her just to turn around and release TTPD:TA. She truly just cares about numbers and now she's only posting the 100% reviews. I can't with her! :ahh:

so what youre saying is she routinely uses her power to court publications into praising her  publicly and shamelessly at that

She posts the reviews after they were written, she can't court them into re-writing them. Hope this helps

But swifties told me only OTH care about reviews

Her manupilation tactics in the industry should be studied. The white BTS :jonny2:

By the same logic, your fave pressures Grammys to vote for her

her posting the reviews and tagging the writers is incentivizing them to write positive reviews in the future. she's allowed to be happy about a good review but its an irresponsible use of her power :heart2: its not a normal thing we see from artists of her stature

New signature.

This from the woman who needed to re record her entire discography because some man was taking ALL her coin.

Swifties are just... :bibliahh:

Honestly I could make a whole thread about how petty Taylor has been in the entirety of her life and career

Your Taylor posts lately are so iconic

The album is considered to have "universal acclaim" so it's not a mixed response.

She also does this every era. It's not a bad thing to be proud of the things you create, especially when she's so much more involved in the process than 99% of pop stars.

Not anymore

the most disingenuous, calculated manipulative elitist i've ever seen. an absolute institutionalist who blatantly shows us why prestigious awards, publications, academies, criticts ect mean absolutely nothing. just rich famous and powerful people j*rking eachother off and congratulating eachother mediocracy and telling eachother they're so amazing

I wonder what quality of beyonce is making you think this way and treat her differently?

are you being dense? she's extremely powerful, so knowing she does this (and will always do this) pressures the authors to deliver.

Hell, one of the authors who she tagged has a pinned tweet about the book about her they are writing, announced along with the album release... :suburban:

Because she can re-record them anytime she wants without permission of other ~50 songwriters per project.

I know it hurts even re-recordings of decade old albums get more attention than your fave's new projects

and how did that turn out?

I don't see anything wrong with this, she cares about how her music is received and that's why she is so successful. She knows how to play the game

Would you prefer her to direct fans' attention to the negative reviews and tag the authors? You know, to be impartial and all
