Her not being the one physically tweeting doesn't mean she doesn't know it's being tweeted. She controls every aspect of her career and how she's portrayed and you think she didn't approve this? it's not even the first time she's doing it, she did it with reputation, lover etc 1
Comedor Posted April 22 Posted April 22 9 minutes ago, KingWitch said: Ya'll acting like Taylor actually sat down and retweeted this when its just her team, give it up with the forced hate Go through the thread, she does this every era. And if it's not her physically posting, it's definitely approved by her. Those posts carry her name. 4
YellowRibbon Posted April 22 Posted April 22 She makes y'all SEETHE!!!! Love to see it! OT: Graceful queen! Always be grateful to people that return the same energy 3

EdgeofTeeth Posted April 22 Posted April 22 This is in very, very poor taste when it's a known fact that journalists and publications have to work around personal threats and attacks from her stans. To me, this is indirectly validating that kind of behavior. Aside from that, I don't know... An artist with her level of domination and success just doesn't need to do this. It reeks of insecurity and gives the impression that her art is created for the purpose of receiving validation instead of a genuine need to express herself as a creative. 4
Feanor Posted April 22 Posted April 22 She reposts reviews for almost all her studio albums. Even for folkmore she reposted, quoted and thanked reviews on Twitter, this is nothing new for her. 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Ew, shes SO thirsty for validation - Jesus. Invest into a therapist, Ms Swift. Its not healthy!
Prodigal Self Posted April 22 Posted April 22 1 hour ago, Rotunda said: I'm not saying I think it's a big deal Taylor is doing this, but this comparison is kinda…stupid. Grammy voters are anonymous, specific Grammy voters won't be called out by Bey or benefit from voting in her favor. If anything, they'll probably be turned off by her doing this (hell, I think it's a bit cringe). Writers have an incentive toward writing reviews that'll get them clicks. Taylor is explicitly showing that she'll name and promote the articles of people who write glowing reviews, which may impact future reviewers. Why would you even entertain this 1 1

Walk_Away21 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 It's kind a tacky with the lyrics added in too, but I remember her doing this back in the day. So it's not new. Also, I remember her on a Kimmell coach freaking out about good reviews for 1989. 1
Dei Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Writers are already scared to write a bad review, this is another way to discourage them.
Walk_Away21 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 51 minutes ago, Comedor said: Irresponsible of her to do something like this. I'd like to think she's just happy about the positive reviews, but she's not innocent or a newcomer, she knows this will have an impact on writers. Publishers are now likely to pushback any kind of negative pieces and ask for positive ones, in exchange for exposure and ad impressions. We knew she is the kind to seek approval from others, and that's on her, but this time it's really impacting the writers too. Oh well not my fight to fight! I noticed she's also been posting a lot lately on the people she works with. Prob to credit them and give them a promotional boost. Notice the huge credits list on the Fortnite tweet. This just seems like a continuation of that.

Bloodflowers. Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Critically acclaimed darling ATRL cannot stand her commercial success so they are seething at every opportunity to bring her down 1

Disconnect Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) 2 hours ago, Brikenbur said: She cares so much about what people think of her it makes her unlikeable and her artistry, in my opinion, phony. Honestly, it's just sad to see you all trying to bully and bring her down with comments like this as if you were a better person and when she's already bounced back from backlash multiple times. Even Gaga, whose career seemed over after ARTPOP, returned with A Star Is Born and proved all the OGH wrong so... If you judge her because she cares you're stupid. Tbh everybody cares. Even Beyoncé does although she's always more private about everything. Being an artist it's her ******* JOB. Wouldn't you care if you were criticized for doing your job? At least she doesn't have to keep encouraging people to buy or stream the album bc it's already a hit, despite all the backlash. Edited April 22 by Disconnect
