OrgVisual Posted April 18 Posted April 18 CC is objectively the best. The vision, the concept, the execution, the vocal delivery. It's pure art. ES is personally the best though 5

ES is personally the best though I agree with this. You know I love CC but it's so heavy and dense, it's actually hard to listen to sometimes, I have to be in the mood. ES is such an easy, breezy beautiful listen. I can understand people not returning to the former as much. Edited April 18 by Jay07
BnPac Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Seeing the thread title, I was like : "are we Friday already? Did I get my days mixed up". It has leaked but still...
AvadaKedavra Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) Cowboy and Tortured were such an excruciating experience for me. Got sleepy half way Pretentious albums. Loved renaissance but Who has the time for an overly bloated country album? Not me. And the Tay one was like midnights-folklore but without the flavor. Like unseasoned chicken Enjoyed these ones better. Theyre more fun and ecletic unpopular but my take https://open.spotify.com/intl-es/album/5EYKrEDnKhhcNxGedaRQeK Edited April 18 by AvadaKedavra 2
toxicgenie Posted April 18 Posted April 18 ES for now. CC was too bloated. And I haven't listened to TTD.
Kingdom Posted April 18 Posted April 18 CC and its not close. ES us good as well. TTPD sounds like MIDnights reject. Just lazy, uninspired and redundant production.

Lana Del Rey done ****** up pop songwriting. 2

ttsmu Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) CC>ES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the other one Edited April 18 by ttsmu
Kh-Loud Posted April 18 Posted April 18 CC>>>> ES>>>>>>>>>> TTPD TTPD's productions sound so basic and generic like it was produced by some kids on garage band who try to duplicate a professional. Taylor has written some cute songs for this album but the productions are just sooo basic and uninspired!
Comedor Posted April 18 Posted April 18 CC > ES Taylor unranked as I will never listen to it in full. 1 1
Lovett Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I haven't listened to Taylor's album, nor will I. But I prefer CC to ES, though ES is also a fantastic album. A win for both of them tbh.
Thor Posted April 18 Posted April 18 8 hours ago, Timber said: Is it really that bad? It's horrid. Like one uninspired long ass song with terrible lyrics. And it's a damn shame cuz this the same woman that released an amazing album like Folklore. 2
byzantium Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I don't think anyone here is really interested in nuanced reviews, but ES has the most interesting melodies, CC has the most interesting production, TP has the most interesting lyrics and storytelling. Each of the artists made albums that we would expect from them and each demonstrate why they are among the giants of the music industry. 1

єѕℓαм Posted April 18 Posted April 18 I loved ES from the first time i listened to it and as someone already said it's just so easy and fun to listen to i really enjoyed it the other two are pure trash but to each their own ig
Virgos Groove Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Cowboy Carter by miles. It's crazy how Bey has been in the industry for 27 years and can still deliver more ambitious and daring albums than most popstars.
dirrtydiana Posted April 18 Posted April 18 (edited) ES but CC is also a masterpiece, it's just that for me it's too long and I am not a huge fan of the sound it caters. Edited April 18 by dirrtydiana 1

But truth is we've been around this block, what? 11 times now so we all know that to expect. that or it leaked lol
Khal Posted April 18 Posted April 18 CC is the only one of the three to attempt something new and interesting sonically. The other two are rehashes with slightly better production (Taylor) and vocals (Ariana), but still the same tired topics.
