Thank god I only discovered the Gasoline remix in the last week so I have something to kind of hold me over until release. It's officially part of my Evermore era canon now  But also I think it's making me want the album to sound like this :suburban:

tbh I can't believe you didn't know about it :gaycat6:

I think it's cute. But I also think it should have a roof. Other pop-ups have at least roofs.

don't let the roof be the hill u die on sis :toofunny3: now come on now IMG_20240415_064442_199.thumb.jpg.0c7d05

but i get it lol. I just actually prefer the no roof vibe? idk why lol. It feels like a cool movie set type of library, not a real one

Guys, if you have Amazon Alexa, ask her "Alexa, when does the new Taylor Swift album come out?" for a nice surprise

People are saying there's only quill and fountain pens on the Spotify Library! No glitter gel pen in sight!

WE WON!!

she thinks she didn't use a gel pen...but are we sure about her autoanalysis?

WAIT! I love the library thingy. such a cute promo idea...i'm also loving the Dark Academia aesthetics. I just KNOW the good sissies @Cruel Summer and @wastedpotential are GAGGIN rn :jonny5:

The aesthetic and the fact that there aren't any gel pens to be seen have my Evermore-riddled brain firing on all cylinders, trust and believe :clack:

They're a possibility that the people who set it up forgot to put it there

btw from this angle is better. The hints of course are in the (fake) books covers or titles.

The books look empty on the outside:suburban:i think they're just there to fill the space, & make it look like a library, while the ✌️ statues are the real clue :clown:

Admittedly, I think it's adorable and I love the dark academia vibes. But they could have added to it with like, those fake candles and what not. I always think of like dark and somber (which is kind of what I'm expecting out of this album tbh)

I think I read about it at the time and thought "oh that's cute maybe I'll listen later" - and then I didn't, and then nobody ever mentioned it again the way we mention other songs like Birch, Renegade, Carolina, and The Alcott as obvious Evermore-isms :rip: I do love it being added to my track list, though. It also feels super fresh since I made my own Red-inspired cover art for every single Taylor album in preparation for TTPD, so I've literally had it on repeat for days!

I think the pop up library would translate well in vibe if the music is out. Now, it's cute but t's kinda just there.

I mean... Did you guys expect them to build an actual library?

:ryan3:

Here are some examples of some pop ups for Kylie and Beyoncé that slayed, she should've taken notes

they don't even have titles on them? are they those fake boxes that look like books you can get in craft stores?

that would have been an added bonus for sure! Having candles or like a big medieval looking chandelier or lamp or something. I get that. They could have also made it a more immersive experience and had a roof like u said to create a darker mood and obstruct some of the light as u enter this secret chamber or whatever :jonny5:
