Okay but imagine if we get something this iconic on TTPD. I would CRY. It's so good I added it to my Lover album.

Her little speech before this is so unhinged ugh

Of course Hozier is shaping up to have one of the biggest hit songs of the year right when Taylor is about to release :rip:He'll probably knock out whatever she makes the lead single after one or two weeks at #1 :'( He deserves it after having had Take Me To Church be blocked from #1 and because of he's years of quality work etc...but damn :'( I wanted us to have another like 6 to 8 week #1 like Anti-Hero :'(

i don't think hozier is going number one as he might lose some streams in the coming weeks

but radio hasnt picked up his song yet and he is consistently doing 3M+ daily streams in the US alone. Once radio picks it up (which I suspect they will start doing soon) it will be really an uphill battle for us tbh. That song of his is shaping up to be song of the summer :/

I hope she's planning to push something other than fortnight as the lead. We do NOT need another collab #1. We stan an artist who is actually independently popular and capable of topping the charts by herself. This is NOT a group project.

Alternatively, we DO need Florida!!! to be a good song that has playlisting and a stan push on opening week because Florence is god and she deserves a top 10 hit.

What's our strategy to accelerate this to 700 pages in the next 2 days? We'll get to 800 naturally by the end of this week at that point, and the remaining 200 page goal will be from the chicken slowly escaping the oven early next week. So we'll definitely hit 1,000 pages before the album is officially released

vault ranking

1. 1989 TV - only suburban legends is horrendous

2. Red TV - high highs but the lows are not more tolerable than suburban legends. message in a bottle is annoying.

3. Speak Now TV - thank you I Can See You and Electric Touch for saving this skip fest

4. Fearless TV - i will actually not trash this because mother was experimenting how the tvs would go and its anniv

Oh, Fearless, it's easy to take you for granted sometimes. The first time I heard her sophomore record (the record company literally played it over the phone for me because they were so afraid of it leaking) I thought, "Holy cats, this is a perfect pop album. She'll never top this." Then she topped it three times in a row, to the point where it's one of history's most curiously overlooked perfect pop albums.

The way that Rolling Stone really called a diamond certified, Album of the Year winning record underrated and taken for granted. They know the tea. When will the haters around here wake up?

I don't think the Lover apologists are going to like that one!

If and when Sweetenerpee is wrong and TTPD is a Midnights rehash instead of a 70s soft rock inspired masterpiece I'm literally going to find a way to light myself on fire in front of her and traumatize her for life

I love this one :worship: And I added it too, along with her cover of Carole King's Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. Taylor sounds great on them

Kinda pressed that she hasn't served us an epic anthemic closing track since 2010. (Unless you'd like to count New Romantics). Clara Bow is serving ballad finale, once again. Can you come up with something new?

Can't believe we are in single digit days until release!! :hippo:

Isn't long live an anthem?
