The only real reason I don't trust this is because it seems like a super safe bet, honestly. The aesthetics give Red but sadder, the song titles give Reputation and its naturally going to deal with opposite themes/lyrics from Reputation so there La synergy there, the album cover gives "soft rock/pop-rock" a la Fleetwood Mac - just seems like the safest prediction you can give, you know? But maybe it's legitimate, who can say at this point?

Are there any actual insiders left? I don't think RideorDie and Blackoutzone are in this line of business anymore, are they?

Call It What You Want is so bad.... "they took the crown but it's alright" is an egotistical mess

In the middle of the night, in my dreams (my dreams)
I know I'm gonna be with you
So I'll take my time

She had nothing else to say besides repeating the same lines over and over.

Big reputation, big reputation
Ooh, you and me, we got big reputations, ah
And you heard about me, ooh
I got some big enemies (yeah)
Big reputation, big reputation
Ooh, you and me, we'd be a big conversation, ah
And I heard about you, ooh (yeah)
You like the bad ones too

The second hand embarrassment when this song started playing....

Do we have any reason to believe this supposed insider…? As @Cruel Summer said everything he's saying is stuff people have already predicted from the overall aesthetic of the album and is broad enough that it could be true unless she does another Midnights sounding album which I don't think she will. I'm not really inclined to believe any insiders especially if they're not being specific. The only real tea we got about Midnights before it came out were the leaks on Wednesday and before that from the Inner Circle about folklore. I'm pretty sure Taylor has the most locked down security of any artist rn, sadly I think we're going to have to wait until next week when snippets start leaking to really know anything about the album

I hope when they say it's reminiscent of rep, they mean songs like don't blame me, getaway car, and dwoht, and not songs like end game, idsb, tiwwchnt, gorgeous, and ready for it :suburban:
