Fortnight?? Florida? :rip:

Well Fortnight means a period of two weeks. It totally sounds like a Taylor thing to write about.

A bunch of Swifties last night were dragging U2 for presenting the Pop Vocal Grammy to Taylor.

They were saying that U2 are irrelevant and had no business honoring Taylor.

So I clapped back at them.

Then they all blocked me on Twitter.

Do most Swifties act like that?

I just cant imagine a Post Malone feature on an album titled ''the tortured poets department'' :rip:
I feel like this wont have any features besides maybe Lana  (inb4 she just does some background vocals again :rip:)

Anyways i like the cover and title, it has lots of potential to highlight her songwriting but im worried about the sound :emofish: Just not synthpop pls

We want real organic instruments

i kinda feel like the Eras Tour openers are intentional at hinting this album's sound

Idk if this was posted here but the album title was leaked days ago along with supposed collabs with Post Malone and FLORENCE WELCH.

Also i can't find that krayziefemale user anywhere apart from screenshots of her posts, another photoshopped conspiracy i fear... thank god :pukey:

Now us already going through Post Malone collab rumours, feels like Midnights again with the alleged Nicki collab, I can't go through it again, I CAN'T

I mean there have been Post Malone rumors floating around since 2018 :deadbanana2:

It literally wouldn't be an album cycle in the Republic era without them :ryan3:

I'm not posting the Tiktok cuz she's insufferable, but see the @ handle down below.

That tracklist is obviously fake c'mon now :deadbanana2: she's not that edgy.

I thought the "The" was too much at first, but once i learned she named it after Toe's cringe group chat, i stanned :dies:

Also, this album would seem to fit poet like Jason Isbell to a T. :clap3:

The gag when I was just in a team meeting at work, we were going through the requested time off, and after spotting that I requested time off for the Taylor Swift concert, my boss asked me if I was going, and then literally half the team said they were going too

  • Same. It's kinda giving Federal Bureau of Control though :jonnycat: @Adam’s Eve

I also really think it might be soft rock this time. Notice how she always include that one song on her albums which sounds kinda different from other songs and hints the sound of the next album:

WANEGBT - 1989

Bad Blood - Reputation

Call It What You Want - Lover

It's Nice To Have A Friend - Folklore, Evermore

Closure - Midnights

Would've, Could've, Should've - The Tortured Poets Department

I don't know, I hope i'm onto something with this theory. :ryan3:

I also very much endorse this theory but the song on Reputation that signaled the sound of Lover was Gorgeous :ryan3:

I think she’s going pop with 90s shoegaze/ alt rock influences. A synthier Suki Waterhouse vibe

Do we think we will get a lead single in March or early April? Or is she still afraid of a Me! situation happening?

Doubt she’s afraid of a lead single backlash anymore considering how huge the last one was and how acclaimed cardigan and willow were.

NOT April 19th being the day the American Revolution started back in 1775 to win their independence over the British
